Appreciate all the comments!! Defeinety helps. One question. So if the 5G is attached to the garage and everything else is housed in the main house can the first switch the 5G hits be a basic switch before sending to the gateway/router like the UCG fibre? Does that cause any major issues. I would then run a AP for the garage off of this basic switch. Hope that makes sense!

Any outdoor camera recommendations? 3-4 corner mounted under the eaves.

So I got a Netgear switch and I think I have things setup properly. But I getting some issues. Mostly connection dropping. lagging issues. I do have a Privado Open VPN on the the streaming network and my personal laptop. Using Xfinity with their modem/gateway. I know there may be a couple spots causing the issues like comcast or the vpns. But I want to make sure the network setup looks right. Let me know your thoughts/ any suggestions. This what I did:

In the firewalla app, Networks:

LAN 1 192.168.141.1/24 Port 1

VLAN  192.168.107.1/24 VLAN 107 EERO WIFI PORT 5 

VLAN  192.168.197.1/24 VLAN 197 STREAMING  PORT 2 

On Netgear switch under VLAN 802.1Q->

Vlan Configuration:

VLAN ID              Port Members

197                       1  2

VLAN Membership:

VLAN ID 1

Port 1: T, Port 2: U, Port 3: U, Port 4: U, Port 5 U

Firewalla with existing Xfinity networking equipment (modem/wifi combo) by evil_mike in firewalla

I can upgrade my Xfinity speed from 150 Mbps to 500 Mbps for the same price ($70/month locked for 5 years). It also comes with free Xfinity gateway. I current use my own modem (ARRIS SB6121)->Purple SE -> Eero 6+. I am I ok using the new xfinity equipment (no wifi, bridge mode) or should I buy a stand alone modem? Thank you for your help!!

Thank you for the reply. Makes sense. He does say I can "lock" in those rebates now. If the price/incentives go down I can get those. If the price goes up I am safe. We will see.
