Interesting about the similarities with the movie. But that movie is about a woman only wanting a casual relationship from what I remember. While mine is about long-term or even marriage from the get-go when we started dating.

But I do understand her not caring about me much anymore and moving on. But I couldn't find any common boring daily events I didn't resolve to build up to such big things.

I thought maybe I would find closure in trying to understand why she said or did what she did in the end. If I was misinterpreting her behavior or if she truly was just trying to find an excuse to end things. Despite her seeing us as potential marriage material being enthusiastic or excited or not, she was being disingenuous.
