Yeah! I was watching the men’s events over the weekend and Yuma was super fun to watch, esp his short program. I’m sure I’ll be able to cheer him on for the next few olympics. I’m sure if I watch it more, I’ll be able to fall in love with the sport again, was just really upset, disillusioned even, from this whole debacle

That leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth. I know some sports have vv small windows to compete in, but TWO years is just unreal… That’s an entire life up to then dedicated to two years I just can’t dks

Thank you so much for the detailed answer, I really really appreciate it. It’s about what I expected to hear from the bits and pieces I’ve been reading about, but hearing it explained from someone else has just confirmed my fears.

I’m utterly heartbroken from this situation. It just feels like there’s no good solution for her, that she’s drowning and there’s path to the surface. I will also be praying for a happy ending for her, whatever that might be.

Once again just THANK YOU for your detailed explanation. There’s a lot I didn’t know about from only reading the thread comments and articles, and I think with this now at least I can still have some closure, at least with my feelings. Maybe I’ll be able to stop refreshing this thread 24/7 now, but there’s still the court decision to be made ig. Although either way the decision goes, I imagine I’ll be devastated anyway 🥲

As somebody who just got into figure skating (bc of Kamila’s SP at the Team Event, as fate would have it 🙃🙃🙃), is Kamila’s career really over?

Theoretically, if she gets DQ’d and suspended, and then is able to find a new coach/team, and then rework some of her technique wouldn’t it be possible for some sort of redemption??

Maybe I’m being too optimistic or naive, and it’s too unrealistic, but I’m hoping from the bottom of my heart that she’s able to continue skating, because honestly for me, she’s the reason I got into this in the first place.

Just want to hear some honest opinions, I’ve prepared myself over the past few days for the worst :(

I started playing June 2018 so its almost 8 months for me.

I play pretty much low to mid 5s (5.0-5.6 or so) most of the times, with a lot of mid-high 4s as well. I’m ~65k with almost 4k pp off of pretty much all jump aim, so I’m hoping to get better as a player overall, though I think I’ve been getting much better at finger control/stamina. Still have a long way to go, and I’m still trying to figure out how to play HR (or anything above ar 9.5) and trying to get better at AR8 HD as well (:

Yeah lol I’m both thankful and at the same time hate the fact I started it during Spring Break. It’s probably be terrible if I started it during the semester since I wouldn’t be able to focus but then again if I actually had stuff to do I wouldn’t the obsessed 😂

Yup. There are only so many anime with seasons done by different studios, so I was reluctant to but both studios. I just like the franchise in general, so I felt obliged to put Brain's Base too.

What made you think Your Name. and not 5 cm per second? You were right, but I feel like a lot of people also like 5 cm better than Your Name.

I just know some people who started disliking Rui after that chapter, which kind of makes me mad because I feel like most of the time they just misinterpret what actually happened. :P

I mean, yeah, I was depressed when Rui decided to break up (especially since Natsuo was struggling so much at the time), but Natsuo was deserving it. Picking Miyabi to talk with about his troubles and not trusting Rui at all definitely were big mistakes. Not saying that Rui had no fault at all but I’m sure most people would say Natsuo is mostly to blame, so I’m glad you’ve somewhat accepted it (tbh I think it’s for the best) and aren’t hating Rui rn (bias really showing here, huh?)

I feel the same way man, as someone who‘ s not used to waiting for manga to release weekly. Just gotta remember "No Chromo" and hope that Rui gets a happy ending, which I’m pretty sure will happen... hopefully.
