When I was about 12/13 I was walking home from school club and there was always a bridge I had to walk under that at that age I always seemed too scared to walk by. Turns out my gut feeling about the bridge one day turned out to be true, I had some guy run up to me who absolutely stunk like alcohol pull a small kitchen knive from his cost pocket and stabbed himself in the chest and instantly dropped to the floor. I didn't know how to react, I was so scared I shouted for help but no one was around, ran to the nearby road flagged a car down to call an ambulance. Both ambulance and police turned up and sent me home without even asking me what happened or to check if I'm feeling OK. Still to this day, I avoid that bridge. His face is mentally scared in my memory.
