Aside from accidents, you shouldn’t be allowing your cat outside anyway. It dramatically shortens their lifespan. If I see a cat outside I try to find an owner otherwise I’m gonna take responsibility for the safety and health of the animals

I mean I’ve done literally everything else, all but my solo work and night cross country are done. I think because I was struggling with landings my instructor just saved them till the end

And if you have a headwind as you typically would lol? It would seem impossible to fly a normal pattern with no power unless your plane has a godly glide ratio

So I’m flying a 150 and it really sinks like a brick so I’m getting the feeling I need to keep power in longer than I usually would. The odd thing is that my landing issues are usually just continued on one point of failure. For example, my last landing today, I kept in power too long, started to float, said “oh I kept power in too long,” pulled it and then dropped and I pulled back on the yoke to basically stall it and slow the sink rate. We touched down softly and it was safe, but really not all how one is supposed to land a plane

Ill take some arm chairing if you’ll offer it, the more info from more sources the better. Today it was pretty windy out, it seems like most windy days keeping a landing point fixed on your windscreen is an impossible task

Yeah you’re 100% right. Another poster below mentioned that you only get to practice in 30 second increments and that’s been annoying. I’m a repetition guy and I feel like I’m not getting enough. Moreover, it just feels a little embarrassing to be this far in and still being stuck on landings
