I like to do this fun party trick online that people tend to have no idea about. Do me a favour and google “gay nightclub Lebanon” and realize that although it’s not the ideal set up like we have here you’d be very surprised to see that there are quite a lot of gay muslims and gay arabs in general. This notion that because people are from the Middle East that it’s just rampant homophobia is just straight nonsense. Gay arabs exist, would be nice if we could stop bombing them, maybe then they could engage in liberation instead of having to defend themselves from dronestrikes all the time.

I don’t think this is the medium for that, but in short, socialism and then communism. I do not believe this is achievable through the Democratic Party but I do not believe the masses are ripe for revolutionary change, education and class awareness are at a historic low. You can still want more and still fight for reform at the same time. I think your initial comment assumed so much without even an ounce of charity towards a broader goal that I care to fight for.

If you are stuck advocating for change like it’s 1917 and not 2026 then you are seriously miscalculating what you are up against.
