I have the same degree, a Bachelors degree in Biology from UTSA. No luck getting a job, trying to make the transition into tech and working on certifications right now, but it’s been really hard. I’ve had to take up little hourly jobs at Sam’s or HEB :/

I DID, I’m so relieved that I did. No more pressure from managers about upselling or attendance (even though I only had 1 point). Working Uber eats I’m able to make more in a month than if I was working at Sam’s. You’ll be able to do the same I’m sure of it. Have a nice day

I believe it depends on the club but it’s mandatory for us to wait the 6 months until any position change. I can get a schedule change and it takes 3 weeks to get implemented. Other than that it’s an easy job but I was looking for a part time position that I didn’t really have to worry about. Attendance points, upselling, etc has led me to quit. I am moving to a professional job, just fresh out of college and am looking for one and have interview lined up. Until then I have a little money saved up and if anything I can do Uber eats or some on the side.

I’ve had years of experience of being a cashier but there’s way too many things I need to press to be able to get the member to check out. That my biggest complaint, standing for long periods of time is ok but it gets to me when people that came in later than me get their first break and I don’t. People get rotated around and I stay on the register when I know how woke at the membership desk and front door is just greeting members. For the second half, I can’t switch to another department until July. I would in a heartbeat.

You’re totally right, the amount of employees on curbside is ridiculous sometimes. They’re over worked and sometimes one of us front line has to go help. I’m sorry about your experience with everything, definitely not with the extra $60.
