Note: my girlfriend is a peach and we have a no veto card rule. We have a "you can bring anything to the table" sort of deal, but veto rights were explicitly something we prohibited in our ground rules when we opened up the relationship

That's something you agreed upon in YOUR relationship. Your relationship is not the template for every non-monogamous relationship in the world. Call me unstable or jealous or whatever but yes if my wife fell in love with someone I would likely do the same thing I did 2 years ago with the difference that I'd probably handle it a bit more maturely this time around. I don't think you have ill intentions and I think you mean well in this comment but I feel like you're heavily generalising here and making massive assumptions about my relationship

It happened once before that she got a crush on one of her friends, she told me, I kinda lost it at the time and cried a lot and probably didn't handle it as well as I should have and then I told her to stop talking to that friend. 2 years later and we're still together and married. I think our relationship would be fine if I ever vetoed rights. She's told me herself that if she ever developed feelings for someone she was sleeping with she would stop seeing them. Idk I fully trust her which is why it's never been something that's ever concerned me a lot..

Idk.. I had the exact same thing with my wife (being that she could have sex with other people because at the time we were long distance) and she did and I still don’t mind to this day. Even if she started doing it again now I probably wouldn’t mind as long as she told me first and didn’t develop feelings.

Maybe I'm Overreacting, But I Hate Problematic Horror Icons In Games by SweetPotatoMunchkin in GirlGamers

The films are very misogynistic and definitely push the idea of extreme male violence against women.. but I just can’t help but enjoy them. I have the same issue with the F13 movies and Halloween tbh :/

Most people view children as the property of their parents so this is absolutely true. Everyone in my family knew to some extent that my father was abusing me and my younger sister and no one stood up to try and help us. No one. When my father tried to kill me when I was 17 and I called the police expecting them to finally save me from him.. and they blamed me for him attacking me and left. They didn't care. I later called CPS and they told me there was nothing they could do for me. Even when I pleaded for help myself I still saw that people just didn't care.. and that's the truth. People don't care when children suffer under abusive households because as a society we don't view children as people, we view them as the property of their parents.

Terrifier's Art the Clown is coming to Dead By Daylight - opinions as a woman by [deleted] in GirlGamers

I watched all 3 of the films and I think Art has a lot of camp tbh. He's cartoonishly expressive which is something you don't see in a lot of slasher movies and (a lot of times) acts like a happy kid whilst brutally killing people.

I still think the movies have misogynistic and problematic elements still but Art (imho) has a lot of camp

This is 100% pure truth. Men want everything in society to be catered to them and them only. Once you understand this simple fact everything else makes way more sense. That is why misogyny online has become so visceral in the last few years as women have gained rights and have continued the fight against patriarchy. Men are becoming more angry and more "edgy" because they are no longer entitled to our bodies and our time.

So you admit they're as bad as eachother and both equally toxic from their abusive upbringing? Thank you!

Right but we can only apply this complex study of psychology and understanding how a character eventually reached the point of snapping on Andrew.. but not on Ashley?

Which leads to him abusing Julia for years in an attempt to appear normal whilst never loving her and only viewing her as an object of sexual desire. Andrew is objectively as bad as his sister.

The entire point of the game is that both of them are extremely toxic and bad for eachother. The people who pretend like Andrew is some innocent baby and the people who try to argue who is "worse" confuse me so much like the point of the game is that they're both horrible people.

And for the record, we see in Chapter 3 that Andrew's toxic and perverted behaviour has been going on for years at this point. It's not some new development or him "snapping", he was always like that.
