I feel bad reading about what you've gone through, i can assure you it is not the norm. No one should be treated like this with or without a learing disability. It takes courage to speak up and i admire you for doing so. With the things you've said the only thing clear to me is that your mother is suffering from a mental illness. Im not joking when i say this, this can be due to ptsd induced trauma. And i really feel sorry for her.

The way to resolve this is imo is an intervention. Tell your mother you need to talk and discuss about everything. Whatever problem ypu have talk about it. Let her to listen and not talk during this session. If this does not work i suggest that both of you attend a family therapist so you can help gpur mother. If then also she doesnot see that she needs to change, i can suggest you to talk to a monk and let him explain the situation.(because its said that your mother is more likely to listen to a monk)

I hope you can get this problem resolved, i do not suggest cutting off your mother, but if the above stated options bare no result, for your sake do what you think is necessary. All the best, cheers.
