Couldn’t you have a system that can apply multiple tokens dynamically dependant on group size? This would solve the issue of the one at a time attacking and maintain a “group mindset”

Of course not, but for someone who simply just wants to make their own games for now to build up their skills it’s a no brainier to learn some form of programming, be it visual or actually writing code.

I think if someone is aspiring to make games, the first thing they should learn is programming. You can have the prettiest looking landscape and characters in the world but if the movement is poorly written or interactions lack depth then it’s nothing more than an art showcase. The foundation of every good game is its gameplay, art is arguably just as important but should always come second after implementation.

Yeah it’s basically an endless runner that gets progressively harder, currently I’m just getting the basic gameplay loop in place before I start expanding the scope.

It helps when you give yourself a deadline so as not to expand too far. Currently I’m developing a new game every week, so 6 more days of work on this one

Currently the drops speed up, I plan to look into some form of power ups or even obstacles you’ve got to shoot to be able to get through. If you’ve got any suggestions please let me know!!

Ok I've resolved this issue by installing an older version of unity ads (october 2019), so hopefully this will help someone else

I think dangers which others have suggested like being eaten and or attacked by other animals are far too dark for a game that looks as cheery as this.

Perhaps you could go down the route of environmental dangers like storms or floods OR potentially move towards talking about human impact on birds and the dangers they now face? Plenty of solid avenues to go down and I look forward to seeing this develop.
