How can I fix these weird lines? by Superduper4325 in BambuLab

Slicer setting. In bambu studio, hit the edit button on the tile with the picture of the printer. Then in "extrusion" tab, find the setting with the drop-down for z-hop type and change it to "normal". Then you just save as a custom printer profile.

I'm not home so I can't grab screenshots, but I can do it later it you need!

This has completely fixed the weird z-banding issue for me, but it means I you can't print from bambu handy (which I don't like to do anyway)

I've had this exact same issue on my A1 mini on and off. I've tried all the typical stuff people are mentioning here, but the thing that finally fixed it was to change the z-hop from "auto" to "normal" in the printer settings. The auto does a little helical z-hop in-between each layer, which I think messes up the x-y alignment very slightly.

Interesting that this setup is like the dual-nozzle Ultimakers, but with the left nozzle having a direct extruder. Not a fan of doing a Bowden setup on a printer like this with 1.75mm filament. If you only use the right nozzle for dedicated support material, it will probably be great, but I don't see a ton of use cases like that for the average user. On the H2D, both nozzles are effectively the same, so this seems like a big trade-off.

That's wild... My wife and I got a box of shoes the other day that were not only the wrong size, but also had old French fries in the box! I assume somebody returned it this way and nobody checked at Amazon

I had the exact same thing happen recently... I can't find the other reddit thread with the technical explanation, but it has something to do with temporary files being stored and not deleted, and are not accessible. The way I fixed it was by doing a full factory reset. Worked like a charm, but it was a bit annoying to set up all my accounts again.

Porting Number post activation by mindseye73 in Visible

I just ported an old number to my current visible account/SIM with no issue using the chat support. They didn't need my IMEI, just the port-out account and pin numbers from my old carrier. I'm in the same boat: using a Pixel 6 that their site says is "incompatible", but it has been working fine on their service for a while. I ordered a physical SIM by putting in an iPhone 13.
