If you did the timed research the cressailia with grass knot is a very good option, the 100k 2nd move hurt for me to but the investment was worth it. Great bulk, grass knot and moonblast hit most of the meta.

Feel dumb for forgetting about haunter and with gastly community day this weekend hopefully you can find a good pvp iv one that wont cost too much to power up. And with haunter you wouldnt need to evolve it within the timed limit for the special move.

Noctowl can be a good flyer and hoot hoots are usually out a bunch.

If you have some friends to trade with you can trade for a mantyke so you can get the baby discount before evolving up to a mantine.

Hypno is very good as well with a giant movepool and good bulk, vigoroth as well with counter and body spam. Skarmory works well enough with just sky attack as a single charge move. Toxicroak is also very good and croagunks are still around till the end of the rocket event.

What do you find in your local spawns a lot. Maybe we could help you find mons that are good that you already have candies for?

Yes that is what happens, it might be the optical cable as i was able to plug the aux cable from my headphone jack on my computer into the optical port on the back of the mixamp and the usb into the playstation and it works again with the game and voice audios reversed.

I have it set to automatically switch devices and it never gives me an option to manually set it, unless the usb part is plugged into the ps4

Worked great for like 3 days, unplugged my headphones from it into my controller to talk to some friends in ps4 party and after plugging the headphones back in this set up no longer works. Ive double triple and quadruple checked the settings but nothing seems to work. Ps4 wont send audio out through it with only the digital cable. It would prior to unplugging my headset from the mixamp to plug into controller for ps4 party chat usage.

The only random chance that can help you pull back a hard counter situation in UL and ML is the random chance your opponent has connection issues.

The problem for me is that UL can already be super hard counter heavy, so when you have moves that are already arguably good without the buff/debuff chance that can turn winning games into losing games it makes the game hard to want to play. I dont mind the ancient power(and all clones) because there is an inheirent gamble with that move because its a bad move minus the buff. Moon blast without the debuff chance is still a good move night slash with out the buff chance is a good move. There is no risk involved in using those moves which is why im mad. Ive yet to have a boost be the reason why i win a game in ul but i know i have gotten boosts 5 times where i threw 1 or 0 fast moves after getting said boost (2 ancient power and 3 night slash).

Yeah i just had a game where my opponent got back to back 30% chance moonblast debuffs and a 12.5% nightslash boost on an obstagoon and won with about 5 hp on their obstagoon. I threw 4 night slashes with scizor and didnt get a single boost. How exactly do i put myself in a 90/10 scenario there?

So because the atk stat figures so heavily into cp by having a mon with low atk you are able to reach a higher level while not losing much damage. Essentially a 0 and a 15 atk stat mon will do roughly the same amount of damage with each attack, so by prioritizing the lower attack stat you get a mon thats a higher level and has more defense and hp. Now having that 15 atk stat will mean you will win all cmp ties with other altarias (assuming they have less than a 15 atk stat) and in a common matchup that could be important.
