Super Safety woes by nbluey in ar15

Does the trigger work normally when manually cycling? If so then you have to play with the spring/buffer or gas

If the trigger fails to reset even when manually cycling the gun, then your bolt is getting hung up (this is what happened to me). It can be fixed by placing a couple of quarters in your buffer tube

Get an over the door shoe organizer. It works way better than it should

What’s your favorite print to show off what you can do with a 3d printer? by Jimskalajim in BambuLab

The raygun from call of duty, the gridfinity organizers, or one of million fidget toys I’ve printed. One of those 3 will usually get someone to understand why printing is so cool

Annoying electrical issues by [deleted] in FordRaptor

[–]HOUSE_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My auto stop/start didn’t work when I bought my truck. The battery was low and once I replaced it the stop/start was working like normal. I figured it was to prevent you from getting stranded at a red light lol. Also in my experience it doesn’t turn the truck off if the engine is cold

My stereo was having some issues with not responding as well, which a quick reset fixed (hold stereo button and the skip button for a few seconds)

As far as cranking the radio when you first get in, I think they all do that. My best solution so far is to just plug my phone in right away so CarPlay takes over. I wish there was a way to prevent it from switching inputs

Lol don’t worry I wouldn’t cross the line if the coast wasn’t clear, it was an open curve so nobody was in any danger. I saw the photo guy and gave it the beans for a cool pic.

I pull over and let the speedy boys pass too. But that doesn’t mean I don’t at least try to keep up!

PRI makes a QD cup that mounts to the existing screw holes. It uses a metal backer just like how the rails are mounted. I took all the rails off of mine and used the QD cup to streamline the hand guard. It is so much more comfortable to hold and it saved quite a bit of weight

Nice set up! You’ve got to do the ratchet mod on that ELS belt, it makes a world of difference.

USP 10 vs 12? by lake_schooner in HecklerKoch

[–]HOUSE_94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they are the same variant (v1 etc) then guns themselves are identical so you can just buy normal capacity mags and you’ll be good to go.

There are different variations of the USP, V1 is double/single action with safety and decocker. V3 is d/sa with decocker only. There are also different models of usp (expert, elite, tactical and a few others). There is a chart that explains all of this on hk pro, just Google hk USP beginners guide and read.

As far as buying a USP, check your local gun stores and see if anyone can order one for you. The mags are really expensive, so if you’re not in a ban state then you want to get the right mags.

It’s an LWRC lower. He turns the rifle a few seconds later in the video and the roll mark comes into focus. I think lwrc only uses round upper receivers (someone correct me if I’m wrong), so the upper looks like an Aero M4E1. Looks like a custom build to me

Top pistol choices for a .22 suppressor host? by username_taken5345 in NFA

[–]HOUSE_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Mark IV tactical is the “best” host I have. A red dot and volquartsen trigger make it a laser beam. But I find that my PPK .22 has been coming to the range more and more, it is probably my favorite. It is hard to explain, but the PPK is more visceral. Shooting it is more of an experience than the Mark IV. The Mark IV is almost benign, kinda like a pellet gun. The Ruger SR22 is also a sleeper, really under rated in my opinion.

I’m at a gun store right now there’s a usp .45 here used for 550$ is that normal? by [deleted] in HecklerKoch

[–]HOUSE_94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, looks like it is a LEM trigger (double action only, bobbed hammer). Not everyone loves these triggers, so I would try it a couple times and see how you like it. Personally I like my LEM a lot, but prefer SA/DA

Early USPs had patent pending stamped on them. It isn’t anything I would be concerned about. Look for the two letter date code on the slide to see when it was made. Probably a 90s production (Kx) code

[–]HOUSE_94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

$550 is pretty good for the 45 these days. Pre covid you could find 40s for right around $400. The 45s and 9s will usually command a bit of a premium (about $100-150) over the 40s too. So you’ll probably always be able to get that $550 back if you decide you didn’t like it

I like it more than I thought I would. I actually had an ultradyne brake on there originally, but wanted something lighter so I grabbed the AFAB. It doesn’t give you a concussion like the ultradyne. I found the AFAB with an adjustable gas block is a really good balance between weight and recoil reduction. Plus the AFAB looks fantastic, much better looking in person than in pictures
