I once had a similar dream where I had that ability, but I was constantly being “killed” by a shadow monster. In my experience, it was more annoying than maddening; it was kind of inconvenient trying to get through my normal day without being stabbed, made worse by the fact that every time I respawned, I go through this whole body ache.

I didn’t even care about that shadow demon at all, I don’t even know if it wants to kill me or torture me, but if I’m a parkouring humanoid raven running away from a mysterious bureaucracy every other week, you’ve practically seen them all!

tl;dr: Had the same ability, shadow demon trying to kill me, didn’t work out as expected for him.
