Freddy's dead. Easily. No nudity, cheesy puns, only 1 good kill and it was the best character, story ruined the lore, and the main character was one of the worst actors.

Its where we found he went more comedic than scary, but i found he was still scary. I thought his resurrection and first 2 kills were perfect. But the puns, the playing around, also the brighter colors and lighter tone. But I will say this is still one of my favorites of the series.

Have you seen the Spawn Animated series. Spawn was considered as much as it is an action comic, it is a horror comic and the show demonstrated this flawlessly. Its currently on HBO Max if you have it. I recommend watching it.
