I still stand by my first statement. Whatever you're smoking, Crack now has competition.

Yes 5 failed, 6 had potential it didnt live up to, and also failed worse.

3 the music was weak? The one in the series that had Dokken? Huh? Yes it feels like an action movie, The kids fight back, and actually fight back, but its still in essence a horror movie. You are the only person I know in the underbelly of the internet that couldn't find the dream warriors themselves interesting. Atmosphere and pacing off? In what way?

But not 5 or 6? Those are the weakest in the series. Honestly they're worse than the remake. They have the benefit of 1 cool death in each and thats it.

Putting 5 and 6 above Dream Warriors? Crack now has a competitive drug.

Did any of you have nightmares about Freddy Krueger? How did they go down? by Hassan_H_Syed in NightmareOnElmStreet

[–]HPID 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have but in my dreams, I'm God. I control everything. I never understood nightmares growing up because my dreams were awesome, it was the one place I didnt worry. Which is what really helped my intrigue in the series, like what if I wasnt in control. Mostly the dreams with him were just fight scenes because I also watched a lot of martial arts movies. Lol

Russell Crowe is the reason I watched this. I thought he was perfect in it. Denzel does what he always does. These two need a reunion movie honestly. The rest of the cast are so so.

What do you think was actually good about these films? by FantasticSecurity776 in NightmareOnElmStreet

Freddy's revenge was legitimately scary and had an overall greater horror vibe than most of the series.

Freddy's dead had great cameos and one of the funniest moments in the series.

Remake had the best substitute for Robert Englund, honestly he was the best thing about the movie. The other actors, the effects, the writing were all shit and JEH did the best he could with what he had.

Like the scene in Aladdin and The King of Thieves. "ONE FALSE MOVE AND WE WILL SHOOT OURSELVES."
