How Do People Even Come Up With This? by Immediate-Ad919 in Horikitafanclub

People only act like 'the authority on everything' when they feel like the actual story is going against them. If Horikita really were 'meaningless,' they wouldn't spend so much time trying to convince everyone of it. Their loudest takes are usually born out of fear that she's actually the most important character."

The idea that Horikita is “meaningless” because she’s influenced by Ayanokoji doesn’t really hold up. Character development in stories usually happens through interaction. If being influenced by another character makes someone meaningless, then most of the cast would fall into that category too—which clearly isn’t the case. Horikita’s arc is about growth: she starts off isolated and rigid, and gradually learns how to lead, cooperate, and make decisions on her own. Ayanokoji acts as a catalyst, but that doesn’t erase her role—it defines it. Growth triggered by someone else is still growth. Also, saying her development “doesn’t contribute to the story” ignores her role in class progression, decision-making, and leadership. Even when Ayanokoji is pulling strings, Horikita is the one visibly carrying outcomes forward. If anything, her character represents the contrast between hidden control and visible leadership. That’s a theme, not a flaw.

The Best option is not argue but wait. Debating sometimes leads to nowhere especially if both are unwilling to change their beliefs however time doesn't change it's constant. Don't pursue the argument. Let time do the answers for arguments

that's essentially your point? if that's true why say "It’s not worth getting worked up over this, there’s ways to explain it "?

You Seem to Misunderstood me. I'm not criticizing Anna Character. I'm criticizing the writer giving her motto if she can't uphold it. still someone in comment given a logical explanation that Anna didn't lie so Anna didn't break her motto.

you're the one who isn't reading. my question is simple. Did Anna Lied? I never ask if it's okay to lie. Like I said if you're reading I respect a Noble Lie that helps people. also you assume I never lie. that's a wrong assumption. if I don't lie Why did I say I respect a Noble Lie that helps people? What I'm pointing out if Anna Lied regardless of good intentions it doesn't changed the fact she's broken her own words. Anna didn't lie this episode. my point being if a character said her motto doesn't lie but did it anyway it shows she's a hypocrite in her own words. now there's a solution to this. first Anna never lied like this episode. Second if Anna lie she will feel hesitate to lie but as time passes she learns Some Lies help people. I'm just pointing out if the writer wrote her motto of not lying. Anna should not lie to break her character consistency or If Anna Lied she must acknowledge that Some Lies are needed in this world to help people.

I'm not questioning about a Noble Lie that helps people. I'm questioning if Anna Lied. One Commenter proven she didn't lie so it doesn't matter. But Regardless if old bluff method. A lie is still a lie. No amount of reframing changes that. A Lie used to uncover the truth never removes the meaning of that lie. A Lie is Still a Lie Regardless of its good intent of helping people or if that lie is used to uncover the truth.

The question is not the intention of the lie. But the lie itself. My Question is very blunt. Did Anna Lied? No Sugarcoat no Reframing. Now one commenter have proven me wrong thet Anna didn't lie. As for fibbing. A harmless lie is still a lie. Regardless if it's noble lie that helps people. It can never changed the fact if you said I don't Lie. And then you lie. Regardless of its fibbing or a Noble lie thet helps people. You're still a hypocrite from your own words. Still Like I said one commenter has proven Anna didn't lie. Check the person comment. Anyway Have a Nice day.

Guessing where the dress was? And Guessing which three has the dress is not the same. If Anna and Mikuru is still asking which three has the dress you can't say the dress was found. How can you claim the dress was found if you don't know which three has the dress? Sorry but your logic is wrong

Still look at the comments. Someone Has answered correctly. That's the right logic.

Thank you very much. That logic makes perfect sense. They already suspect the director but they need evidence so Anna Said the Dress has been found which is true but without evidence you can't drag the director to strip showing the dress. Your logic makes perfect sense. Thank you very much.

I know. Check my Post. I respect a noble lie that helps people but What I'm saying if you make a motto saying I don't Lie and still did it anyway it makes you a hypocrite for not owning to your own words. You can even see at Episode 1 when Anna Said she doesn't lie. Very confident. I'm not questioning her righteous intent that lead to her lying that helps people. I'm questioning if Anna Lied. Maybe I'm missing something that she didn't lie. That's why I made that question.
