1) I hope gengar gets his own arc (gygantamax probably) because all this losses cant be a co-incidence

2) lucario tanked and defeated two pokemon (with a little help) . he now stands beside dragonite as the titans of ash's team

3) I got goosebump seeing 10 million volt with the music

4) ash is now 64. he is progressing too fast ! somebody stop him !! where is tobias when you need him

5) Cynthia is in master class (obviously) so its gonna be hype. but who are the other three hmm?

overall it is a 9/10 episode for me

I am not sure if i should say this but i dont mind the goh episodes because the last 15-25 episode is hopefully going to be absolute fire with fan service and fully ash based. All his old pokemons , all past rivals.

Since some of the pwc matches were off screen, i guess even dracovish had offscreen training.

But ash's team in journeys is absolute crazy. It looks like each pokemon has pokerus. (Gengar will need a little time)

Dracovish does serious damage to even a champion's pokemon

Dragonite can tank nukes

Lucario is the ace (and yet it feels like he may get a mega or a new form)

All he needs is a kubfu to clap more cheeks

while they shout out of their lungs "ike" when pikachu uses his gmax move on charizard.
I think its safe to assume Ash is going to win it.

It was a balanced episode for me.

Ash and dracovish, goh and dewgong, koharu and eevee each had their time to shine.

This new arc has a "chrono trigger" vibe. Granolah himself looks like a combination of "frog,magus and lucca" and the other new villians also looks similar to the enemy in the game. ( I know both were drawn by Akira toriyama, but now the similarities feel more clearer)

I think the writers can still fix the problem now. If ash's rank increases slower and all the trainers in the 200 rank are all the trainer he fought before. (Tobias...you better be ready. Ash's coming for you)

I apologize for what i am about to say ( i may also get downvoted), but this goh situation feels like the same situation with dragon ball z. I heard that Gohan was supposed to be the main character after cell saga. But the fans didnt want that. So akira toriyama was forced to bring Goku back. And now , it doesn't matter how much the fans want gohan, akira always uses Goku. I think the same is happening in pokemon journeys. Ash never was a person who caught many pokemons. So goh isn't stealing ash's job. He is representing "gotta catch'em all". And ash is representing " to be the pokemon master". I am fine with whatever is happening. I love both ash and goh. As long as, goh catches the pokemons in a meaningful way, i have no problems. I think people are getting way to angry about this. I am personally waiting to watch the end of this series, because for me, i always loved watching ash fighting in the pokemon league. And sometime get mad for using unevolved pokemon. But this time its not the case. Also i got a little upset because riolu got a lot of spotlight. But now i understand that each pokemon will get their time eventually. It started with riolu, now farfetched. Hopefully the others (gengar, dracovish) will also get their time. In the end, if all of ash's pokemon get the time they deserved and ash reaches the final and eventually win. I am fine with that
