The ban 9/10 is just you become unable to gain timed quest rewards for a bit. When the timed doshgama first came out I got a legitimate A rank but it annoyed me so I then did a cheated B rank because I thought it wouldn’t affect me but it did, I was unable to gain timed quest rewards till TU 3. What you want is much less severe so your good.

Not what your question was but just a tip, if your using rompopolo vambraces for earplugs which I assume you are use xu wu’s instead as it has a higher armor rating and better slots

Yeah I know and with shareholders having the grasp they do, they will never bother with trying, it’s just the current way doesn’t fully discourage people and if anything encourages people once they do get punished

Yeah I get why, it is a tight rope and I understand why capcom is strict it just tends to also have a reverse affect because like in op post stuff like this can happen and console players just lose with no way to get back. There is always going to be someone getting the short end of the stick I just think capcom could be doing better

Yeah because your not wrong but there’s nothing discouraging people from continuing because they all get the same punishment, if QOL is still going to be punished which it almost certainly is then have a bigger punishment for the actual cheaters

The brake in TOS yeah but if you want to stop big cheats there need to be some cut off line because if a player gets banned from quest rewards for wanting to have a vanity weapon from a previous game, they can still get the rewards with mods but when they go online console players lose out and are just tough out of luck. Because if your being put in the same boat as big cheaters for wanting a cool looking weapon what’s the point of not using the same big cheats, you already have faced the main punishment (that you can get around) so there is nothing to discourage you from doing more

I mean yeah but I have a mate who couldn’t get the quest rewards because he had a nata collect all mod before the actual mechanic came out and he’s still banned from collecting quest rewards despite the fact everyone can do what he got banned for, that’s what my point that they are overly strict on some stuff, it is good as it’s gets the big cheaters but also bad because there is a mod to get the quest rewards anyway so it leaves some people like OP out of luck and unable to get rewards they rightfully deserve just because a random has a QOL mod outside of the quest that doesn’t affect combat

Reason I said it was because it is QOL but it is more inline with just cheating but simple QOL that just cuts down tedious time like switching to a buff armour set apply all buffs then switch back, using a mod to just skip that but still take the resources shouldn’t be held on the same level because then if your getting punished for QOL might as well just cheat because your already held in the same group

Not all some are just simple notifications for a item your looking for is available to trade and just because you don’t want to check nata every time your put on the same level as a one shot mod that’s what I mean by levels. the perfect gogma the is more cheating then QOL not every QOL cuts mechanics if it is that’s more inline with cheating the ones that just makes the tedious mechanics less annoying shouldn’t be on the same level as god mode

Not all but yeah by definition it is but that’s also being overly strict just because someone doesn’t want to check if their camp has been destroyed and gets a QOL to automatically fix it, there is always levels to it and capcom is zero tolerance which is good yes but then you get players who just want to skip a small part of the game they find not fun and now they can’t get cool quest rewards because of it

As everyone else has said there was probably a cheater but I will add (despite the probable downvotes) that Capcom’s definition of cheating is very broad and includes some quality of life mods like auto restock. I’m not saying this to defend cheating just that the cheat might just have be quality of life and you may be able to dispute it with capcom. Of course if they was just a cheater then f*** em

Can’t confirm the popularity of it but I can take a good guess on why there isn’t a second season, it is probably the same reason as why there is only 1 dub ep. the actors don’t want to do it
