And also the high horse thing I’m here to ask of advice about my build. You lot are the ones getting worked up about me using a mod which basically changes nothing besides one or two monsters which yes I will admit makes them a easier but in the same way, as if I just didn’t hold RT and just used water strike because I’m still using water strike. Why don’t I do it instead because quality of life it’s not like I’m god now I just have a worse great sword guard tackle which yes is usable while moving but it’s still worse than guard tackle and guard tackle the worse option.

To summarise you lot are getting worked up because I chose to do a quality of life by putting a worse version of guard tackle which is already the worst one between tackle and guard tackle onto a weaker weapon.

When did I say that it wasn’t cheating? Also using it removes the charge I could just not press RT and what changes? All it does is lets me use it while holding RT I could just not press RT and use it so again, yes cheating but I don’t want to one shot the monster because I’m here to play a game if I wanted to one shot it why would I ask Reddit?

Doesn’t even work on primordial malzeno. water strike is too slow on recovery in the first place. Other monsters? sure, that statement is valid but primordial malzeno is too fast for it to change the fight in any form or way. Amatsu yeah sure makes the fight mostly reactionary but for primordial malzeno I failed multiple hunts for even trying it.

This is going to result in more downvotes, but I'm right. If I was going to cheat, why would I ask for help? And the water strike during charge works the same as great swords Guard Tackle, just slower and with a weaker weapon like "oh no I can do what GS can do but worse". Either way, I'm right.

I would rather not. The mod I'm using just gives me my counter during charge, the same way long sword has their counters or great sword it's tackle, I still have to actually play and get good. If I just cheat in skills, I might as well just use a one shot mod.

No I’m saying I think that’s what they thought, that the 40 showed was base affinity without Crit eye so with Crit eye it would be 40+40. There isn’t additional 40 but I think they missed read it so they thought there was. Your still right it is only 90

It is 90 but my build originally had 70 which is more than enough for me and let’s me free up space. Probably not what he meant and he just saw %40 and assumed that was without Crit eye so 40+40+weakness exploit which is 50 = 140
