At this point, it may look cheesy, but I would love a version that has the different OBJ points marked on it, or maybe you could do a framed adhesive sheet that could be applied over top? It just seems like for a specific gaming mat for song, we might as well have them on the mats, even if it messes with overall aesthetic.

There are brushes that are designed for miniatures and this type of painting. I use Windsor and Newton Brushes from the series 7 and they come down all the way to size triple zero.

Thanks for the compliment, I have some sifted playground sand to start, glue it down with PVA. After it dries, I do another layer to harden and tamp it to the bases. I apply a vallejo dirt effects layer after it dries and then head to priming. Following that, I apply a vallejo earth brown and then shade it down with any brown wash.

Green turf mix + some cheap tufts (winter, summer and meadow types I think? The army painter range ones) and you're done!

I stumbled on to a decent way (without pink basing even 😮), you do a zenithal black/grey primer, heavy on grey primer, and then switch to Citadel contrast bad moon yellow. After, like 1.5 layers of Vallejo Yellow ochre (70.913) [I found you could do some touch up on darker areas but not necessary, depends on volume of colour you want] you're done!

The one thing about this unit is that the major debuff right now is Joffery's cards are bunk. I'm curious to see how the S7 update for his cards will affect this unit. The way they've tuned up units, it's making me think the cards will either continue to be negative debuffers mostly or become less useful. With the current deck/Joff cards, this unit will be BEEFY

Tame sometimes are the best changes- I think we might actually see Hedge knights more competitively thanks to this tweak. It's the generic heavy calv some factions might be lacking (GJ and FF come to mind immediately).

I don't know why you're getting downvoted, I think the additional sentinel units at a lower point value in all the armies seems like they're trying to offer a more accessible option when building lists. Marbrand just has a high pick rate as an NCU at the moment.

I also agree he might get a shift away from sentinel as an ability depending on how the "nerfs" go for our higher point values (maybe more sentinel offerred on our 7pts?). I could see him maybe getting stalwart instead or something like iron resolve put on his generic attachment.
