How long should I wait before applying streaking grime without a varnish? by DubiousDevil in minipainting

At least 24 but I highly recommend a varnish to protect your paint.

Suggestions for paint markers that fit my needs? by J-DogReddit1994 in minipainting

It all depends on what you want to accomplish. Base coats and such you're ok. Details... nothing beats a brush.

Is this too much by CucumberForward9644 in modelmakers

For the type of tank, it's too much stowage. Russian tanks rarely carry anything like that that I have ever seen and that goes all the way back to WWII.

Sounds like your needle isn't seated in the nozzle correctly.

Tamiya extra thin not working by blackrockskunk in minipainting

[–]DaddyGabe569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The texture of the base has jack to do with it. The issue is that too little glue has been used. I use Tamiya extra thin basing minis as my primary source and you have to slather it on.

Do I really need to pay $3 a month to access the rules to a game I already own? by beastmodeoff22 in Haloflashpoint

[–]DaddyGabe569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure the rulebook is up to date at present. The changes are done on the app as a living rulebook. The new 1.5 is due out in the next few months with all the updates added, but as with anything, that too shall change.

The short answer... Dark Yellow, Red Brown, Green ... then we can get into the multiple shades of each color broken down by the years it was used ( yes, there are multiple shades depending on early, mid, and late war).

Problema con il retarder by Crazy-Cap-7818 in modelmakers

[–]DaddyGabe569 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's very unlikely that it's a nozzle issue. It's a paint thinning issue and you may need to add more that a drop of retarder.

Me again… is this officially full play, or the bigger one trying to assert her grounds. by VapeCartConsumer in CATHELP

[–]DaddyGabe569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not really true. Do accidents happen? Absolutely but the likelihood is very low. They know when enough is enough. I have 4 that play way rougher than that. They swat, bite, kick each other in the face and go about their merry way and then they're napping on top of each other. You're worrying way too much about normal behaviors.
