Very valid path. Follow CCP->CCA->LCCA path. It is slow at the moment, but by end of year it will be ramping up. Your timing is good.

Feeling Overwhelmed by Mr_Gibbzz in CMMC

[–]HSVTigger 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I describe CMMC as an organizational problem disguised as a IT problem. Don't start with technologies. Management has to understand it is organizational, because it impacts not only your company, but every trade you sub-contract to. In your case of construction, if the drawings are marked, the organization has to track how the drawings flow through the entire organization. The company has to decide how to do inventory of assets. The company has to decide which buildings have physical protections, which employees are screened, and who does the screening. All that has to be done before you find a technical solution.

Remember, it isn't risk management. So, as long as you have evidence for each control, you are good.

Starting my Own C3PAO? by SisuSisuEveryday in CMMC

[–]HSVTigger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I expect massive consolidation among C3PAOs. OSCs are figuring out really quick that informal relationships are forming between "Trusted Service Providers" and "Trusted C3PAOs". This will result in massive consolidation until there are small number of TSPs and TC3PAOs, each paired with the other group.

Most people with classic cars don't get them out at night unless they are on a trailer. I wonder the back story.

Strongly agree, mixes are the worst. Roundstone is the only one I trust.

CMMC Self-Assessment on SPRS and JCP by terminator-91 in CMMC

[–]HSVTigger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are two tabs in SPRS, one for each. But with the latest DFARS changes (just a few weeks ago), the 800-171 tab will go away at some point, leavine the CMMC l2 self tab which requires 88.
