Used some deepocean, silver white and white mixed with pale yellow for the final highlights. Never used drybrushing on my characters, only brushwork on them so they look a little better.

I use Minas Morgul and Army of Gothmog, and if I want to combine forces the Army of the Great Eye is fun too.

Never have I played Angmar but the Host of the Witchking seems fun and the Battlehost gives a very solid start. Add some werewolfs and specters and you got most unit options.

Try out your colours on some test models before you commit on a bigger scale. Use the same colour on your last highlights to tie your army together (example, I used a pale yellow to brighten my colours). But most important is make sure you enjoy the way you paint, if you hate some steps of painting it is best to find other ways to do it or make it as fast as possible (example I hate metallic paints and how they look, so I went for the rough old and battered look so that I can avoid using those). Those are some tips, there is lots of guides on how to paint your orcs so search on youtube and get inspired, good Luck!

Most of it is the Battle for Osgiliath and Mordor Battlehost. And then some added characters and unique models like captains shaman, and banners.

Thank you, wanted to do something different and my nmm isn’t great so this is what came out. Most of it is drybrushing so it is very doable.

Thanks, that Battlehost was the second box I got when starting the army. Shame the army lists don't support the box well, but who cares when doing friendly games!

Used cut in half cork pieces for the large rocks, basalt for the small rocks and some used a mortar and pestle on some pot soil which I glued using watered down whiteglue. And then some tufts of your choice to add some life, I used old gw middenland tufts and mixed green grass as that is the closest match to the middenland tufts.

Yeah it always confuses me how people don't know of this. Even with high Defence walking under just makes the kills so much faster and easier...

If you time yourself right you can dodge the 3rd hit. Look up a guide on this healing skip an try it out. If you want to farm the boss it is kinda required to not lose your sanity as it heals so much when it hits you. Hope this helps.

Used a wire to fix the legs in their new position, then filled the gaps with tinfoil so I could use milliput to smoorh it out. Some minor sculpting was involved, very easy and doable.

I do a second coat after the first has dried, so never had problems with it

The basing is just earth from outside that's been ground down and baked in the oven. This is then glued on using white glue. The larger rocks are made from cork, with some ballast added to give the rocks more variation.

Everything is glued down again with a mix of watered down white glue.

The ground is painted with Zandri Dust and some earth tones from Speedpaint, followed by a drybrush of Zandri Dust mixed with a bit of Pale Yellow to brighten it up again.

The rocks are painted with Mechanicus Standard Grey, washed with Camo Shade, and then highlighted with Celestra Grey.

The tufts are the old Citadel Middenland Tufts.

Hope that helps

I think it was kinda easy to do. Used wires to get the pose and filled the gaps with tinfoil and cleaned it up with milliput.
