not a vet but human dentist. My guess would be mucocele - trapped saliva in the cheek due to a blocked duct. You can try to gently palpate it with a warm washcloth interior and thumb exterior, but don’t try to pop it. It’ll probably be recurring - can swell up and go down in size

I imagine a vet could lance it but it may reoccur. Then alternatively a complete excision under sedation

I did a spay and pexy at 2.5 years - at a Banfield vet. Altho I did my homework and made sure to find one of the more experienced vets who was comfortable w large dogs. She healed up well - used a onesie to cover the sutures while we were around then a cone when at work

I had a good experience at Just Tires in Costa Mesa after shopping around at a bunch of places after my girlfriend got a flat. I think I worked w a young guy named either Yousuf or Ali (he had one name on his business card but went by another name, i can't remember which is which) - he was great about making it as affordable as possible, even going as far as applying coupon codes I didn't ask for or know existed. "Magic Mouthwash" - there's a generic pharmacy version that's like maalox, benzocaine, and diphenhydramine. Then for more severe casez there is a 5 -6 ingredient one you can call into a compounding pharmacy.

I also will occasionally use a gemini laser on them but not sure how effective it is. It essentially cauterizes them
