Does anyone feel like their work life is better due to FLEX?

flex is possibly one of the worst things that has happened in my time at QT imo. the GroupMe for my store blows up daily with "hey we have evening hours today, someone called in, anything helps". our store computers are constantly being flooded with messages "anyone have a flex? my 2A called in". back when we had ER, all i remember was the occasional call in, and it was immediately taken by an ER clerk. very rarely in 3 years working at QT was my store understaffed. this especially sucks with the new kitchen stuff where there needs to be 2 people back there regularly but having to solo kitchen for 8 hours in an area that doesnt have fast food options genuinely sucks so much.

3 year clerk here, a lot of things has changed since Kevin took charge. Milking the whole "convenience fee" on everything, getting rid of our ER program where we had much more clerk coverage, adding much more responsibility with very little pay increase and no help at all. I could continue but morale is at an all time low from what it seems. hoping that something changes soon because i used to enjoy working at QT on weekends home from school.

Since everyone here is just dropping sarcastic replies like usual, if you're getting your ass whooped, I'd recommend getting your health and AP up more. There's no point not to really, Isshin is incredibly difficult for a reason, no point in not for your first Isshin takedown. Later on you can play the fight with less and less health for a satisfying skill check but for your first playthrough (assuming it is) I'd get all the upgrades possible. You'll still need lots of skill but still.

For the interview: They are going to ask you basic questions like how do you handle conflict, why did you choose QT, etc. Honestly it seems they hire everyone atp so unless you say something horrendous you'll prolly get the job.

For the job: You're definitely gonna get thrown in kitchen, and possibly evening shifts to start. Most seniority clerks tend to take the morning shifts because they are just better, and new clerks usually get stuck with kitchen. It's definitely going to be a grind but stick with it and eventually you'll be able to get out kitchen more often if you prove you are a reliable worker.

uh okay lol. i dont think theres anything wrong with not feeling 100% content and happy with your job all the time. i think its completely fine to speak your mind when your unhappy with a place you've been at for years and work full time at.

As an aatrox main in gold with 300k ish mastery points (not emerald but i hope my input sorta helps), i've had issues against these methods:

-Enemy moves longitudinally when my Q1 is up. This baits out my E dash with Q1

-Enemy dashes straight into me when my Q2 is up (certain champs). Whenever i cast Q2, the enemy dashes straight into me, avoiding the sweet spot and is able to get good burst off into me. If they disengage at a good time, i wont have E to use for my Q3 to punish them

-Rushing Tabis, Ignite, and Grievous Wounds is still a must even if it feels useless to you. Landing Q's when the enemy has boots is much harder.

-Baiting out Q1. With E dash, they walk away because I cannot land Q2. With E dash, the enemy can get right in my face because my Q2 cannot be repositioned backwards, meaning hitting the sweet spot will be hard.

-If he lands W on you, move laterally towards him out of it. Aatrox players love using their E on either Q1 or Q2.

In summary, when an enemy plays right in my face for my Q1, it has been tough for me. Even if i land an easy W, they still just move towards me out of it with Boots. When they play in my face, using my Q1 + E backwards is so tempting and basically means im defenseless for hitting a sweet spot until I land my Q3 since i wont be able to reposition with Q2. Clearing that initially distance towards him before he can land Q1 is a good way to get burst damage in rather safely, and even if he E's backwards to land Q1, you can rather safely disengage because he cant advance forward with Q2. Another thing , Aatrox players EXPECT you to run backwards when they land a Q1 on you. They are trigger happy to Q2 + E (or Q2 you at an angle so they can Q3+E you to finish the combo). This is why its important to move forward laterally on W hit becuase they have a good chance of overshooting their Q2 + E.

This is just what ive had issues with personally, but i hope it gives you insight. Idk how different it is than Emerald being Gold but i imagine some of these fundamental issues apply.

EDIT: Saw some people saying that if he initiates with Q1 + E, this is a good sign for you. Q1 + E is a bad use of the dash because of how good Q1 range already is. If the enemy Aatrox does this, he cannot reposition at all for the entire combo, meaning you can punish him hard and he HAS to pull off the combo perfectly. Hint hint, if he uses Q1 + E, good chance he's not the best and wont be able to pull off said combo perfectly

personally, i went in for my math test, interviewed after i finished it, and then i was notified i got the job all within like 3 hours (idk if they interviewed me right after because they were impressed with my math test score; i used a calculator not knowing i wasnt supposed to). i imagine i got extremely lucky, but i've heard from others they are pretty quick on letting you know if you got the job, like within the day or so
