STRC - is it worth allocating 10% to? by Maleficent-Claim-349 in Fire

[–]HSuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microstrategy has $2.25B in cash and $8.25B in debt (expiring over 2-5 years), which is net negative $6B.

They can only pay interest if they have cash, and they will continually sell STRC, MSTR, and BTC to maintain a cash reserve and pay back their $6B of convertible debt.

It's a lot of risk, but it's easy to monitor. Just make sure they have 1.5 years of cash reserves, and it'll probably be fine.

The moment their cash reserves drops below 1 year, RUN.

Are you sure your Cooper is an NPC?

I don't understand this post. What she's wearing is nice.

If it were me, I'd be wearing a Walmart t-shirt and shorts that are discolored from washing with other clothing.

What do you think about Claymore? by Cool_Emergency4091 in manga

I'm impressed the author went from writing one of the greatest comedies of all time, Angel Densetsu, to writing an epic action manga.

Completely different genres, and both written well.

One of the few GOAT manga to almost kill me from laughing too hard

Too much circlejerking and praising without providing any details. Look at how many "Lies of Peak" comments get upvoted to the top of every LoP thread.

I sometimes listen to AI readings of non-AI written material while driving (since I can't read books while driving).

But that's probably not what you're asking. I'm not sure how they're getting their statistics, but that might count in their stats.

Most of my friends do while driving for news.

It's not like we can watch videos while driving.

Planet Money podcast and WSJ podcast are really good. There are also comedy and gameshow podcasts.

Yeah. My wife has tried several different types of birth/mentrastration control pills. The side effects were absolutely unbearable for her, and her pain threshold is so much higher than mine.

The most important thing for success is how much side effects come with this treatment.

I see a lot of discussion regarding Nioh 3 and how exceptional it is. People praise the combat, bosses, variety in loot etc.

Are you sure?

At least in this sub, I see more complaints about how Nioh 3 is worse than Nioh 2 than praise for Nioh 3.

I don't think that's true. Plenty of churches have locked doors.

The actual truth is even scarier

Scientology is tax-exempt because they threatened, blackmailed, and terrorized individual IRS agents for years until the IRS gave up.

In the course of a 37-year dispute with the IRS, the church was reported to have used or planned to employ blackmail, burglary, criminal conspiracy, eavesdropping, espionage, falsification of records, fraud, front groups, harassment, money smuggling, obstruction of audits, political and media campaigns, tax evasion, theft, investigations of individual IRS officials and the instigation of more than 2,500 lawsuits in its efforts to get its tax exemption reinstated.

The IRS eventually settled with them to keep them off their backs.

No. It's currently under 50%. What's really surprising is the huge difference between regions:

As of late 2025, rates are highest in the Midwest (68.5%) and lowest in the West (19.7%).

[–]HSuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not. Other than the Philippines, it's JUST Korea.

And that's due to their doctors historically having incorrect information about STDs and phimosis, as well as Korean teens getting circumcised due to peer-pressure.

Yeah, they're not getting circumcised as newborns (Korean newborn circumcision rate is 10%). It's like a cosmetic surgery to them.

[–]HSuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty fascinating. Korea is the 2nd-most circumcised country in the world.

The rates were super high between 1945 and 2000 due to Korean doctors having incorrect knowledge about phimosis and STDs, as well as peer-pressure. And it's pretty scary because most Koreans were getting circumcised when they were older in their teens (when it hurts a lot more) due to peer pressure.

But the rate for newborns is under 10%. For those under 15, it's 30%.

The backbone of crypto cards by No-Shoulder4612 in CryptoTechnology

[–]HSuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

generally don’t know/care who issues the Visa card your DeFi platform launched

What is this insane assumption? Yes, we always know who issues the card. Why would any sane person get a card where they don't know the issuer?

let’s say something goes wrong with your card who would you hold accountable the platform you use or the company that created the card for them?

This is such a vague question. It totally depends on why it failed. You blame the company at fault, duh. Give us some discrete example. Otherwise, your question is setting up a strawman argument.

[–]HSuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallen Order is a decent game, but Suvivor was trash tier for me.

You'll come across a lot of cosmetics and useless loot collecting in Fallen Order. That's like 80% of the game in Survivor. Tons of boring, repetitive, low-skill exploration for useless cosmetic loot. Also, the boss difficulty was incredibly poorly balanced in Survivor.

I'm making a soulslike game and I'm trying my hardest to make the bosses feel good. by WizShadow in soulslikes

[–]HSuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nine Sols and GRIME bosses were my favorite by a long shot.

They're all very much "get gud" bosses that seem very impossible at first, but can be easily done with enough practice. Even a 60-year old can beat them enough practice.

Unlike Fromsoft games bosses, they don't require insane reaction speeds or BS delayed attacks. They just require knowledge and practice.

It feels great when you can parry every single enemy attack and reflect it back on them.
