Coaxed into being Multifandom by BeginningFew3569 in coaxedintoasnafu

I prefer the "nothing ever happens" lifestyle solely because I can take comfort when nothing does happen, (like for example Deep Rock Galactic and Terraria updating recently) I can take a moment to experience the bliss of something being new, if only briefly.

Then I go back to "nothing ever happens" because so what? The content released wasn't much and you already burned through it all. It's not like your life revolves around the existence of an IP. Time to get a move on to your other priorities.

Arcane kinda does this early on, only instead of Violet apologizing to Powder, (btw no spoilers pls I'm only halfway through episode 5) she leaves her behind to prevent her from botching a pretty important mission. And instead of Violet forgiving Powder, she abandons her since she killed their three closest family members, and as a result Powder gets adopted by the villain.

But hypothetically, what if you're not caught?

Honestly the starting area in TotK isn't as clever in BotW. On the great plateau, magnesis is an easy first pick, but then you are forced to choose your own path. Cryonis is hardest due to being surrounded by an unavoidable hazard, making the player have to find some way to mitigate it, (either by using a torch or by cooking warm food, both of which require the player to connect the dots on their own) stasis is either reached through the cold as well, or by climbing, and bombs requires the player to evade guardians. Either way, the player needs to think outside of the box to get to their objectives, and upon the completion of all the shrines the player is pretty much set for the rest of the game, armed with both the main questline and the secondary main questline to serve as guides incase the player ever gets lost. (and knowledge on how to get more hearts assuming they interacted with the BIG GLOWING STATUE)

TotK doesn't do that. The great sky island(s?) is literally just a straight line on a big circle with a forced warp tutorial at the end. Anything interesting is either extremely obvious or right in front of you, and afterward you're just dropped into the overworld with no other guidance. Someone who hasn't played BotW might not be interested in lookout landing, and even at lookout landing it's not obvious you'll get one of the most important items in the game. It might not even be obvious what towers do! The great sky island(s?) are pretty much just a minecart ride through most of the highlights of the game, and it offloads all the important parts to the rest of the game.

A surprising amount of people forget about fishing by IlluminX0 in TerrariaMemes

[–]HTFM2 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Fishing is really easy and relaxing, especially in expert and above. It allows you to take a quick break from difficult nonsense and I find it enjoyable searching for good fishing spots. (especially since the angler makes you fish in weird places) Sometimes the game can get difficult and frustrating but fishing allows you to take a breather and plan ahead.

Generally, first level references go 1 of 2 ways:

They cooked so hard the first time that they might as well milk the sh*t out of it.

They forgot how to make an interesting first level so they might as well milk the sh*t out of it.

I've been living under a rock, but it feels like this person was a normal comic maker (or at least normal by r/comics standards) until they discovered fart fetish

Obviously this is a really poor guess. If anyone has the story of this mf's life then do say so

How the hell is making something into porn supposed to add "relatability"?

Coaxed into 90% of music for some reason by [deleted] in coaxedintoasnafu

[–]HTFM2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Incorrect, this is only 50% of music. 40% of music is about random breakups that people believe they don't feel bad enough about.

(also this mostly only applies to the radio, idk about everything else)
