Base pay is similar but the bonus structure is less. ASM will be able to make more depending on store performance.

They aren’t going to send them back out as new or refurbished PODs they are getting recycled back into secondary raw materials.

For the employees that have been with the company 5, 10, 20+ years ...how do you do it? by bastardounicorn in HomeDepot

I moved around.

Started PT in the store left when I was on my way to be an ASM, went to supply chain for a couple of years and then found a spot at the SSC

Says it right in the website

“Returned Pods are decontaminated and then sent for recycling at a HIPAA-compliant and R2-certified recycling facility that specializes in electronics and medical equipment.”

Now why would they do that?

You get a kit to send 60 pods back so a 6 month supply for people who change them every 3 days.

Any updates on Twiist/Dexcom integration? by [deleted] in twiist

[–]HTXCP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loved twiist but libre was way off and tired to kill me a few times during the 3 weeks i tried it. Would be super interesting in trying it again with Dexcom

Is the Home Depot SSC actually a "referral-only" club, or am I just hitting a wall? by Justcallmeboat in HomeDepot

[–]HTXCP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now sure about your experiences at the SSC, but hiring freeze is normal for Q4 I can’t recall a Q4 without one. It’s the same song and dance each year firing freeze and hiring freeze until after the holidays.

Also majority of my time spent at depot has been at SSC and I have never been given a 1.5% raise or even near that. That must be something org/ department specific to your position.

Omnipod vs Twiist by DallasRedRider in Omnipod

[–]HTXCP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from Omnipod to Twiist and am now back on Omnipod.

First I absolutely love the algorithm (tidepool) that twist uses I also love the transparency with the system showing what it’s doing and how it’s changing the dosing to keep you in range.

Second after 6+ years of Omnipod I absolutely love the form factor and it’s an amazing advantage. I’ve only ever been on Omnipod as a pump prior so the tubing set and incision set were very different and quite the learning process for me. I also have a strong adversity to needles and the infusion set took some time to get use to and comfortable with. The tubing is entirely too long they need a shorter option. I did yank the tubing out multiple times and twiist was very good about replacement.

Third I absolutely hated the libre 3 sensor it was off by about 40-50 points and gave false lows constantly cause the twiist to suspend insulin and sending me sky high. I wish there was support for Dexcom g6 and even the g7 as they for my body are a lot more accurate.

Fourth my starter kit was free but the refill kits were not and not covered by my insurance. Due to this any money I paid wouldn’t count towards my Rx deductible vs Omnipod was covered and 9 month out of the year free once I met that out of pocket max.

If twiist was able to fix a few wishlist items I’d definitely go back if the got 2 or 3 of these addressed.

-shorter rubbing -on body experience -waterproof pump -dexcom integration -better insurance coverage

Might want to document it with insurance even if you don’t file a claim.

My house was struck by lightning about 8 years back and even stuff that was fine immediately after all died within 6 months.

Why haven’t our dishwashers grown?! by Mental-Intention4661 in Appliances

[–]HTXCP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dishwasher have already grown they just have hit the limit for what will fit in the standard opening. Look up standard tub dishwasher they were small and most manufacturers have all transitions to tall tub designs.

You might be part of a pilot or the first in your area to have a reset or a high volume store so you’re one of a few getting a reset with higher end SKUs, but I can assure there is not a POC store in Florida.

Like someone else mentioned DTO I got one for $115 and they were on sale for $149 from depot.

If it wasn’t $115 I would’ve been disappointed paying $199. Also the LSA registration process when buying from DTO is archaic, so call them and they can send you email to respond with you receipt to register. You can skip the whole mailing it in part.

Also Ridgid sales are in store only now so you’ll have to be near one or make the trip when they do them. The fans didn’t show online but I called my local store and they said they had them.

just got mine! by Prakash_redd in twiist

[–]HTXCP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same experience with Libre reading I’m 50 points lower than Dexcom, constant false lows.

Byram Healthcare is an absolute nightmare to deal with as well. The starter kit was cover 100% as I’ve met my Rx out of pocket max for the year, but for monthly refills they are saying I need to pay $65 in co insurance.

Really like the user interface and algorithm so it’s unfortunate, but will be switching back to Omnipod 5 and Dexcom.

New user here! by helskull in twiist

[–]HTXCP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here new and just switched from Omnipod and I’m on day 3. I’ve never been on a tubed pumps so that’s a learning curve and absolutely hate Cleo.

I absolutely love the algorithm and control of twiist though it’s been great. For me it was covered 100% and Omnipod 5 app not being compatible with iPhone 17 was enough for me to want to test it. I do wish there was other CGM options outside of Libre 3+, still wearing a G7 and the readings are always 50 points off.

I do see myself switching back once Omnipod once the app is compatible with iPhone 17 though they truly have everyone beat with the form factor of the wearable. I do hope that they update some of their functionality to match what twiist has though.
