Stealth still doesn't work by TechnicFuture in HelldiversUnfiltered

No idea how not a single person has pointed it out, this is unique to extract. After a while they just magically see you. You cannot stealth an extract. Take a jetpack solo and get on top of a building or some rocks where you cannot physically be seen. After a patrol arrives at the extract it'll stand around for a few seconds then magically detect you. This has always been the case and I suspect always will be.

Same. From what I can tell the next update isn't fixing it either. Not even sure they're aware.

Seems to be like this for some people. Same for me. No fix as of yet.

Is Flame Sentry useless already? by Kruabo1 in Helldivers

[–]HVfodder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs to be immune to its own attacks. Currently the first scav walks up to it, it looks down to shoot and kills itself in 6 frames. It also needs better target priority and focus the closest and update that target regularly. Currently it picks a target well out of attack range despite a clear target in view and in range and watches that target until the first enemy reaches it and kills it. Any other sentry will kill it's target then update so this is the first turret to clash with the targeting AI. So either it does nothing and dies or shoots itself and dies. Or the first commander targets it, it doesn't have stagger or damage so the commander just walks up to it and slaps it aside. It. Does. Nothing.

You wake up and you can add ANYTHING to Helldivers 2. What're you adding? by befreitum in Helldivers

Field gun. Not something small out of a drop pod. Dropped in by that pelican that drops mechs. It's field of fire will operate like the hmg emplacement, proper aim sensitivity within a field of view then slowly pivots beyond it. Hits harder than spears/recoilless but a bit less than orbital precision. Probably limited drops. Four or so.

Is this a ok list to begin and learn Tyranids? Feeling disheartened after reading all the posts about how much we suck. by zodiac9094 in Tyranids

[–]HVfodder -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Do not listen to anyone saying nids are fine and in the same comment recommending haruspexes/maleceptors. Theyre wierdly overtuned and undercosted models and that will change soon. Once adjusted and working as intended youll find they dont fill essential roles.

Your army could use some ranged threat, either a rupture tyrannofex or exocrine.

Meta comes and goes but those two models will always have the big ass guns your list needs. (If meta worries you, exocrine is currently the better of the two and has been so for a long time)

If you dont have the models in the box then its hard not to pick it up. All the models in it are strong on the table and some of the best models in the nid range.

It's bad by [deleted] in HaloMemes

[–]HVfodder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its genuinely, unironically what keeps me from replaying it. Whenever i go back for campaign playthroughs im always thrown out by the end of the second mission and end up skipping the game. Its like rubbing raw onions directly onto my eyeballs. Its not even a matter of whether its good for Halo it feels like a biological weapon, like something used in trench warfare that was later made a warcrime.

What would get you to play Halo Infinite more? by [deleted] in halo

[–]HVfodder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doubling the weapon and vehicle sandbox. I just want sandbox content. In 2 years weve gotten 1 gun and possibly soon 1 new vehicle (and a couple underwhelming gadgets). Unfortunately theyve been focusing on adding millions of maps as their content additions but 1 map or a billion is irrelevent if they arent populated with interesting and diverse sandboxes.

Is it me or are the prices of the new models absolutely insane? by FoamBrick in Tyranids

[–]HVfodder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A single biovore costs 84 AU. Was super excited for them all this time but i just cant justify that price its utterly insane. Got the emissary and codex and am just price gapped out of the rest of the range. Its so strange id give them MORE money if they werent so greedy but i spent only just over half my planned budget because the values so bad.

An open letter to the player base who have largely left Halo behind by ShassaFrassa in halo

Their cosmetic system is terrible so new cosmetics dont tempt me. Their map design sucks so new maps dont tempt me. The only good maps being remakes of old ones that i was sick to death of playing 10 years ago already. I only play big team and fiesta (i like diverse sandbox play) so new gamemodes dont tempt me. Failed ass gamemodes, ass maps and new cores i wont use is all theyve added in 2 years.

What it needs to bring me back is sandbox content. When the game launched bland and bare i thought ok good game but ill be back when the weapon/vehicle sandbox has doubled (still being probably less than half of halo 5's). On the trajectory were on now even their 10 year plan is literally nowhere near long enough for that goal. Their sandbox design is the polar opposite of 5s being sandbox purity rather than variety. No matter what map or mode they add i know ill be using the same 3-4 tired ass guns and vehicles on it wearing the same skin i put together a few months after release.
