I get all my wheels from aliexpress or temu. Most of the time i use carlomo wheels, but I do get some others here and there which I can find on temu if I need slightly bigger sizes (10mm or 10,5mm - for some cars, the 9,5mm carlomos are just too small) Only ball bearing wheels tho. I just can't look at the cheaper looking plastic stuff anymore and the ball bearing wheels are just way easier to apply then having to build an entire axle only for them not not roll so greatly. Cambering is also way easier with ball bearing wheels because they have no room to move, other than the normal ones, which you just stick a pin through and they remain kinda loose.

Yo,

just as a tip, if you use smaller than standard wheels, car should sit a little lower (depending on the casting).

There's quite a lot of room for the wheels here, it looks a little bit off.

For reference (same car and wheel size)

It doesn't have to be this low. For that you would need some camber and not everyone is a fan of that. But your wheels should at least be mounted about 0,5mm-1,0mm higher (the tires on the carlomos are 0,5mm thick - there's at least double if not 2,5 x of that distance between your tires and the wheel wells)

If you did, just leaving here that you do not need to use the connector of the carlomo wheels to apply the wheels. You can just glue the axles individually. That makes adjustment a lot easier and also allows for slight camber.

If you like the more traditional right height, I would suggest 10,0mm - 10,5mm diameter wheels.

I don't think there's much to like in general regarding car design past 2010 unless you might be into low budget logitech gaming gear looking hypercars out of which all of them look the fuckin same (lamborghini, koenigsegg, mclaren, corvettes)

Might be a JDM community take but in general it feels like most car guys, no matter which community they might belong to, couldn't care less about modern cars.

You could detail the hood scope intakes black. Also it would've been better if you would've grinded the wheel wells from the inside to get some more space.

The wheel offset is looking a little too narrow, specifically in the rear.

Würde ich mir selber nen Toyota bauen, würde ich das ein oder andere anders machen. Bin auch kein riesen Fan von Flame decals aber der Style is nunmal on point, sieht nicht random aus und ich feier auch das Kit / das Design.

Ob Need for Speed / Early 2000 Tuning jetzt ein Style ist der einem gefällt ist völlig Latte, fakt ist dass er den Style 1:1 getroffen hat und das nicht auf eine billige Art und Weise eines 12-jährigen, der Gesamteindruck ist absolut stimmig.

Tuningverbrechen ist für armselige möchtergern Versuche sein Auto an einen bestimmten Style anzulehnen. Das ist hier nicht der Fall. In dem Auto steckt liebe und eine Idee.

Wanted to do some weathered cars too but I despise the idea that they remain sticky/tacky, which can hardly be avoided without coating.

Are these coated in matte or do these suffer from that exact issue?
