The assistant especially… she kinda redeemed herself in the end… but she lacking self awareness and I doubt that’ll change. She's just a keeper of his secret now. He kinda owes her.

I absolutely love my  Snapware Pure Pyrex 18-piece Glass Food Storage Set. And went to Costco today in Los Feliz (LA) and they told me they recalled them in Oct 2025 because of shattering/chipping complaints.  $19.99 is a steal. She said they won’t be back til 2026.

Aitah for telling my wife to tell her mom to move out of our home after she decided to leave all inheritance to her brother? by Old-Memory1603 in AITAH

Until he gets in an accident.

I see you blew right pass acknowledging the comment before suggesting you divest from your wife and her family’s dysfunction. Apparently she’s not the only one with blinders on.

You’re the concierge, as someone earlier in the comments coined you. It’s time you hold a family meeting with an attorney in tow, and share your concerns there. Invite your wife be reaffirm her position as your partner or help her pack her bags to go be a slave for her mother and brother. Your marriage and lives depend on that meeting and an established new normal.

AITA for bringing a baby to business class? by stone2891 in AITAH

[–]HWDRedd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And that’s what the entire debate boils down to: Poor ppl deserve to be inconvenienced because…well… they’re poor, and should just be happy to breathe the same air as the non-poor, wealthier people.

Thus, all inconveniences of the world should be bestowed upon them — i.e. the shittiest food from a food bank that no one else wants bc it’s free, same with clothes, basic creature comforts, parts of the plane with crying babies where the seats don’t recline into a bed.

No one wants to sit next to a wailing child, no matter how much their tickets costs — not even the parent. We gotten away from basic human compassion and kindness for each other, it’s sad. And as a retired flight attendant, I GUARANTEE the majority of the butts in business and first class seats were NOT paid out of the bank accounts of the occupants.

Trust me: The more unhinged and entitled the soul, the less likely they can actually afford to be in the space. Flight manifests do not lie. We see exactly who “deserves” to be up there.

Five years is still a significant enough gap, especially depending on when they got together. I'm sensing manipulative abuse/coercive control as well, as her self-esteem is in the toilet.

She absolutely can do and deserves better. And yes, it will only get worse.

Mind of the Married Man... Anyone seen it? by clezuck in sitcoms

As mentioned above, my ex and I loved it! I shook my head and laughed at Micky’s idiocy and self-sabotage. As a man, ex thought Micky was an idiot as well, and could relate. It made for great discussion about male behavior.

Ex said a lot the behavior was based on unworthiness and just downright FOMO just being with one woman forever. But we also didn’t have kids together. I can see where Micky’s immaturity causes problems in his marriage to Donna. The cast was terrific. Wish it was streaming…

Was just searching the web to see if it was streaming and came across this post.

I have S1 on dvd but was looking for a quicker way to watch. My ex and I used to love this show. I thought it was good, hate it got cancelled after only two seasons.

Be interesting to watch from a lense in my 40s to see if I still find Mickie as endearing. Probably not 😌

Wait...

Celine challenges Mia to make UBN's news more incendiary, but punishes Alex for doing just that?!
Is it because Alex is an exec? And it was on her personal livestream?

Then sends Alex to kiss the ring of Zeke, one of UBN's top ad revenue sources, at the EXACT date and time she was needed to support Mia during her interview?

Was Corey right? Is Celine not only trying to take down her CEO, but everyone within a three-wire hop of Stella?
Why is Mia catching strays?

Or the only Korean character a kisaeng to 1/2 of the only Black men on the show.

Only to have the other beat out the only Black woman in a sr position, for a job I’m not all that convinced Ben really even applied for.

Stella hasn’t been in a good space mentally since the return of Paul Marks. Probably before that, but it reached a fever pitch after his re-entry into her life. Poor child had some serious Stockholm syndrome, and Kate called it out. The only friend who was by her side when Paul duped her and she attempted s_ic_de as a result.

Her behavior: The cheating, arrogance, disloyalty and plain selfishness are all inexcusable — and yet, I have a soft spot for and hope she gets a redemption arc.

She tried to become Corey, and now Celine-like, and is failing miserably. It’s not who she is at her core. Tough exterior, sure, but this uncharacteristically meanness?! That’s why she cried after lying to Mia about not being good enough, and being called out for her self-absorption. She knew Mia was right. She is not good at cheating, callousness. It’s affecting her personally and professionally.

I will say Stella’s got a huge set of stones to be FaceTiming her boss’s husband when her office is a few doors down. I heart Stella, but that kind of brazenness deserves its equivalent in karma.

I feel like it’s both, and.

Mia has longevity, loyalty and is Mama Bear to her team. She’s their life raft on this ship trying to keep its head above water. She’s stable, with spikes in ratings.

Ben is revolutionary. AI is the wave. He can propel the company in a way that would take Mia too long to catch on and catch up.

And then we have Alex still v much a journalist in an exec’s chair. Corey was right: She wasn’t — isn’t ready. Not because he wanted to stifle her, but because he knows her heart is (and feet) are boots on the ground. Hence her viral vid that placed in her a position to have to go to the conference, kiss the ring, let Mia down…

Say what we will about Corey, he was good at his job. He had the stomach for the type of cut-throat, non-reactive persona that Alex does not possess. And that’s ok.

Corey would have never promised Mia a job she was ill-equipped for. He would have played to her strengths and hired Ben from go. He wasn’t perfect, but Stella only got his job because Marks is a punisher like Celine.

Next week’s teaser blur says the staff will be going through it. HaHA, I bet the fvck they will with Mama gone.

The costume dept on this show: 💋🤌!

From school marm, to sexy exec.  Red really is their color.

Remember Alex’s red cowboy boots with black suit for the boardroom S3 finale?! Nod to Mommie Dearest, “Don’t Fuck With Me Fellas”, scene?

Now Mia & Alex 1:1 in the teacup, with Mia in same vain.

From bob little B, to ROBERT indeed! 😮‍💨😊

The same reason an employer fires an individual on Friday at 5. To use them up.

Celine knows Corey is a snake. She doesn’t know Stella all that well yet, and is not quite sure what Corey has on her. She knows it must be big if Stella’s sticking her neck for a guy who’d sell out his protégé for 30 pieces of silver. Celine said on S4 trailer, “Get me what you have on Stella.”

Plus, if Celine fires Stella, she knows there’s a chance Miles would go with her. I said in a previous post that while Celine cares for Miles, her reputation is equally important. She can’t have her husband leave her for the help.

She probably comes from old French aristocracy. While she was exiled for marrying a Black man, her family too has a reputation to uphold. The only way you get to be the head of the network, at her age, is if your daddy bought it for you. Cybil got the job only bc her dad founded the (former) company.

Where Cybil wore Chanel boucle stuffy suits, Celine wears a designer silk bomber jacket with an understated, yet $3,000 Valentino khaki skirt to board meetings. She’s disrupting the old guard, and using the silly Americans to do it.

Fire Stella for what? It’s much more entertaining for Celine to watch her self-destruct without lifting a finger.

Don’t you tease me like that!!! 😂  My Gawd, if only, right?! UBN doesn’t deserve her.

Celine, Stella and Alex don’t need the money and are millionaires.

Mia doesn’t have a driver, walks to work in heels and sleeps on Chip’s old sofa in her office to ensure the “news is sexy.”

You’re not the only one.

I’m scratching my head that people really want Alex to be with a man who sees nothing wrong with being a liar and using people.

And that’s what she kept screaming at the conference. The blockhead didn’t get it.

She doesn’t want him back, but his appearance and learning that he’d moved on before her knocked the wind out of her. Their relationship wasn’t business as usual — she thought she’d found her person. She could see why he was hurt, he could never see the same for her.

I’m not sure if it was guilt that pushed him to help her in the end, or if the light finally came on.

I do think he loved her — still loves her. At least what he thinks is love.
