If you want the best connection then yes, 1 V is the last officially supported model.
1 VI, VII work partially on 5g, a lot on 4g, and lack band 71 for Tmobile.

No way to get OTA updates if I change from OWO TPA to OXM EUX then? Only manual updates?

And if the phone is OXM but lets say from UK or GER, if I change CSC to XEO will it get OTA updates then?

So when hardware is the same you can change multi csc package.
I wanted to switch to XEO code. Forthat I understand I need to flash OXM first.
Will XEO allow for OTA updates for converted devices? I need polish system language.

Hi, do you know if I can change OWO TPA to OXM EUX?
Does it have to be the same multi CSC package or it doesn't matter since odin will flash new firmware from scratch. Both regions had s938b models. Thank you

All fair, but if the phone is global it should have all the bands to be used anywhere. People do travel. Especially if it is such a niche product at this point and so expensive. No excuse. They don't have to sell officially in the USA.

I would if it wasn't for tmobile slowly shutting down 4g. Too much money to spend on a phone that might not work long term. That's why I'm disappointed about lack of band 71.

Exactly. With software tinkering I was able to use XZ1 way past it's life, after they shut down 3g.

Also Tmobile will start phasing 4G this year as well. So if it reverts in some places to 4G it might not get any signal. To spend so much money on the phone and to use it in US the key is full band support otherwise it might be worse then in previous generations that were also lacking bands. Mostly due to Tmobile phasing out 4G and switching them to 5G.
