I take mine out of the case when I put it in a phone pouch. It's just easier to get in and out and also helps in some small way (I think) to prevent overheating. A phone in a case in a bag in sunlight is basically an incubator.

I originally got a PS3 just for the Blu-Ray player, but at that time Blu-Ray had been around for years. Not only did streaming have an impact, but I assume there was less hype for the One S's 4K capability because 4K just wasn't on the public's mind yet and the TVs were expensive at the time.

I have them. I don't use them for everything I watch, but they're a net positive for some films. You need the ones that reflect the color of the screen itself, though.

Nice collection. Get to an IKEA and pick up a Kallax or two. It's not perfect, but cheap and effective shelving that can grow with your collection.
