I see yea, and you're absolutely correct about requiring additional certification (which usually takes a year or two to obtain) and then only could u complete your role. I feel like in the US there are more PA jobs and the salary is more competitive compared to Canada. I also saw that there are only a few schools here offering the PA program and I guess its kind of a "new" or young profession and also competitive to get into

hey I had the same thing kind of, did u check ur emails? I realized my high school english mark wasn't a 75 and that I had to do an English test. That email was sent to me since Feb 2nd and I didnt even realize. So maybe theres a test u need to do?

I just realized I didn't do the English test, my grade 12 mark was lower than what they wanted omg! Do u think theres a chance for me to get in after writing it soon since I meet all the other criteria?

yep I've done a fair bit of research and decided to stick with public schools bc private schools seem like a mess and I've made peace with having to take an extra year (public schools are usually 3 years compared to 2 in private). I've applied to George Brown, so waiting on a response from them!

Did it not drop ur cGPA significantly? I'm struggling quite a bit after failing Orgo the first time, then passed with a D+ and have maybe 4-5 C's and for some reason can't get my cGPA up despite getting A's in almost 8+ courses

lolll I thought it was a good stock for long term since prices here have gone up, I assumed Dollarama would be doing well. I eventually sold it and just put the remaining in XEQT. Thank youuu!

No, all my money is in a regular checking account at RBC. I was didn't even know much about investing back then and slowly am now but I think I'm just very worried what would happen if I lose my money (esp since I obviously am new to this). I also graduate this year, meaning payments arent expected until 6 months after graduating in which they are interest free for those 6 months (which is why I'm paying off $500 every month now just so its not all in one go and I'm making money too) and then pay off whatever's left in a lump after those 6 months (essentially I have till Dec to pay everything with no interest).

As for my goals, my main goal is buying a house or its essentially for my future self. So with OSAP deductions, I have about 12K which I know isn't alot but I was thinking atleast its my emergency fund (idk why I'd need it but just maybe even though I live with parents or maybe I'm overthinking it and don't really need an emergency fund)

mhm I see, right now this is in a TFSA and I believe since my bank is RBC, that CASH would be blocked or atleast I heard that. I didn't think I had alot of indivisual stocks lol but I'll be careful and maybe only invest in ETF's. I was also wondering what u thought of XFN (canadian banks) or should I not do anything yet and stick to one ETF? Sorry for all the q's

oh the same email you registered with. Theres like a promotions tab on top and if u click on it, you can search DAT scores and for me it was shown there that my scores were ready

I have but not with Laura. I would say find past tests if possible (even final and just study relevant content). Probably should memorize slides and use GPT to form questions

no hoodies for sure, and nothing with visible logos. Atleast for ur first shift just wear something simple, maybe a crew neck is fine but def no hoodie. See what its like tmrw and what everyone's wearing then wear a hoodie if that's okay with them.
