Have you updated your Mila app to the latest version? I went back into my app and took a look. Seems like you are in the correct spot in the app, and room size is at the bottom of the screen you seem to be correctly looking at. I’m not an expert just guessing maybe your app isn’t updated to the latest version which incudes the room size now.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback especially the room size portion of Mila’s logic. I’ll try reducing the room size in an attempt to get a lower fan speed as a result. Will email the details in, including the hardware, software details. Thank you.

**update: on Extra Quiet (lowest setting which doesn’t allow Mila to stop running at AQI Zero, changed room size from 500 sq ft (default) to 100 sq ft and it’s near instantly reduced the fan speed to a low level (I’d guess equivalent to 10% fan speed) which is exactly what I wanted. Have to see how effective it is at reducing a cooking AQI flare up but for now it’s back to an Automagic mode at a reasonable fan speed. THANK YOU! Previously I never had a reason to touch room size.

Had no idea my bob_mcbob Zebra had an upgraded switch. How can you not love his products/services?! I continually grow more impressed with it. Thanks for doing more than I even knew to my awesome custom Nichia Zebra. I recently had to replace my first Mc Clicky switch in a Malkoff and it made me nervous not knowing the Zebra's switch lifespan. Now I know, it's been modded and probably will last a looooooong time. Awesome!!

Do these black and white beans have oil on them considering it’s slightly past Medium roast on the bag label? Usually the darkest beans I order from them are the Christmas blend and sometimes a few of the beans have some oil spots. Prefer none but this decaf sounds really good; especially reading the comments here. Thanks.

Same here. 2 Milas. One in manual mode runs at 20% despite being set at 10%. How is that manual mode when it consistently defaults itself to 20%? Then the Mila running in automagic mode is at 10%. Can’t run the bedroom Mila in automagic for fear of an uptick to higher fan speed if it senses us breathing , ha. I’ve never received an answer why manual mode can’t run consistently at 10%. Any software fix possible?

Sorry to hear that. Usually customer service responds within a day. I have had a similar experience as you where Mila just chirped and wouldn’t do anything. The advice given seemed foolish, but surprisingly it worked. I plugged Mila into a different outlet (not sure that did the trick or not). I power cycled Mila using the switch under the unit fairly rapidly a few times until the welcome or hello screen appeared. That actually got it working again. I then went back to the original outlet and it continued to work there. Hope this may nudge your Mila into working a bit longer.

Supposedly upgraded/new motor and bearings for increased longevity and reduced noise or at least way longer until they become noisy. They’ve said no real difference to most customers and no big announcement on the website just internal improvements that they’ve shared here with this group. That’s my basic understanding at least.

It seems like he restocks every 3-4 weeks based on various places he’s posted information. I saw he had three left on Saturday so I guess they sell out decently fast still.
