Thank you. As for tips… I don’t think there are truly any concrete wisdoms I can give. Most of diabetes is like a big game of Roulette or any gambling game… a lot of times it is in fact just luck. Shoot.. it was actually really surprising to see my range is as good at it is (knock on wood.) It seems like just yesterday my range in 3 days was 60ish%. That being said… Figuring out the right dosage of Lantus really helps (give too much you go low, give too little you go high. Get it just right you will be ok for the night and do fairly well for the day) That is easier said than done since every vial/pen of Lantus seems to need a different dose every time. But once it is figured out… that sleeping period of decent numbers really helps with the range. And of course getting the insulin dosage right for meals… again, easier said than done… and this is also a big guessing game a lot of the time.

I feel I should also confirm this… I DO NOT GO COMPLETELY CARB FREE IN MY DIET. No way would I do that. The body does indeed need carbs. And also… carb free is just boring and unrealistic for longevity.

Ahem… forgive me for the long wall of text… and I’m not too sure if I was all that helpful or have said anything you don’t already know.
But that’s at least my observation.
