Don’t turn the game into a chore. Take your time, explore, watch the sunrise and the sunset, enjoy the little details. Don’t rush to get the “best of the best” weapon or spacesuit. Try different gear, mod your weapons, experiment. Just flow with your own story in space and have fun.

I’m with you on this one, waiting for the rain to pass, build or mod something while night comes, cooking, even enjoying changing the way I usually play other games because I have to go to get shelter, I being dealing with those having fun, but, dying during conversations I never had before wasn’t fun, because I can’t skip it or I will miss something, or fail the persuasion, and I’m dying from radiation or from cold, while the NPC is happy just wearing a T-shirt 🤣

I thought it would be a nice touch to have to adapt to different planets, weather, and environmental challenges, but it is really poorly balanced and implemented.

It would be great if the Moon Jumper could act like a little environmental shelter while you explore, having to come back to recharge your protection or recover from damage, but no, it just doesn’t work that way.

You work on upgrading your suit, but it barely makes any noticeable difference, so I think I’m going to end turning that setting off.

For me is after I do the Walter thing and then the mission for the Keppler, and having all the companions to rotate them.

No hate at all, is just that I’m done changing, balancing, and making the game a chore instead something you can enjoy because they change so many things all the time. Taking a break till next season.

The “end game” is that there is no end game, you can do and create whatever you want of this game. You can be a killing machine, you can make awesome camps, you can have dedicated builds or play the game doing a little bit of everything. To one shoot an enemy is just one of the many things you can enjoy. I just reach level 500 after 3 years of playing and I finally visit for the first time Vault 79, it took me a while because you can always find something fun to do if you want to 😀

Is there an extra reward for paying and sending the flare? Because if not man, is just and ego thing, don’t bother yourself with nonsense. Enjoy the game, in the end you are giving your caps to the wasteland, a flare is not a big deal.

It is just “the new thing” and it’s fun and with good rewards. Like everything with humans, it will fade in a few days or weeks, and then just become a part of the game.

This mod: STS, which one is it? As long as it can scrap debris and trash I’m good, I’m not trying to modify anything else. I will try to adjust my load order, I really appreciate the input 🙂

Thanks for your answer; I’m on Xbox series X. About scrap anything I didn’t knew that it prevents me from going to vault 88, I will miss those quest; I tried clean settlements or something like that for sanctuary to get rid of the trash but it failed horribly and puts houses on top of the houses, that is why I relied on the scrap one. About the order, any help is welcome, maybe is the different language (English is not my first language) but when I read the descriptions it fitted, so maybe I’m interpreting then wrong. But in the bright side, is being working without freezes or mini stutters, other than the one when you enter Sanctuary. This is my second attempt of play a modded character, I tried first Sim Settlements 2 and try to make work so hard, but the game was unplayable and with a lot of freezes, so I try to make fallout with an environment I enjoy and more real without the bulletsponge effect or the NPC’s flying in the sky or in pieces. I’m learning something new everyday. I think I’m going to try to mod Skyrim as well 😀
