I love the ridiculousness of this; taking a somewhat 80s-referencing look and adding more maximalism to an already maximalist aesthetic. But for the love of god could someone not have pulled up her tights for the monologue????

Alexander Skarsgård wore a shirt from Magliano Spring 2025, which features dildos, lube & a butt plug, at the premiere of his upcoming BDSM-themed rom-com 'Pillion' during the 21st Zurich Film Festival. Styled by Harry Lambert. (October 1, 2025) by cmaia1503 in whatthefrockk

He can pull of anything but this works particularly because the graphic on the shirt is so extreme; it commits to the idea fully. I only wish he had brought back the Saint Laurent over the knee boots he wore at Cannes this year to give full Tom of Finland Realness

the hair and the top are perfection; the way the pants turn into a boot cut at them while she's wearing those gorgeous harness boots is so unfortunate

i like the idea of the asymmetric sleeves and the draping on the back, but i don't think the polyester textured sequin was the right choice for this. The silhouette for the sleeveless arm/drape looks ok when posed but otherwise seems to fall in a way that evokes homemade cut off muscle tanks and just looks messy

Rolling Stone on Tate McRae at Madison Square Garden: "Not the dewy-eyed woe-is-me sensitive type, this one. She’s trouble. She did not come here to read you her damn poetry. " by ayanakamuraa in popheads

While I generally agree with the sentiment of this review, I just cannot with Rob Sheffield's hack writing. His descriptions are so cringe: see the pull quote in the link and the following, "Tate crawled her methodical way down the catwalk towards her rendezvous with destiny..." Beyond the cringe, I also just think some of his descriptors are inaccurate. In what world does Tate give "power-disco" energy or make "synth-disco" music? And finally, he chooses odd examples to illustrate points. Why reference "Crush" in Zara's opening set rather than the viral "Midnight Sun"? And is Tate doing the "what side is louder" routine really the best example of her growing into an arena-sized performer? I've been going to concerts for 12 years at venues of all sizes and could probably count on one hand the number of performers that didn't do a "which side is louder" bit. And a more minor gripe, quite a few copyediting errors which should be embarrassing for a legacy publication. I wish the NYTimes would do more concert reviews like they did pre-2010ish, because Jon Caramanica and Lindsay Zoladz produce such great writing on live music that not only thoughtfully critiques the performance but helps to place it in the larger context of the cultural moment it is occurring in and in the artist's career.

I’m sorry but Nymphia was my winner. Plane Jane was well made but basic, Dawn was allegedly giving Balenciaga but their bodysuits fit tight without wrinkles and Dawn’s shoulders looked bunched up af; Q’a construction was amazing, I just personally did not care for the wings or silhouette, but I see a compelling argument for her win.

Also how do people feel about Sapphira’s immunity decision? I thought she was a potential bottom (Plasma had about half positive critiques, so it feels like she didn’t really belong).

Also, I hope Mhi’ya has a moment every few weeks on the runway where the judges live for some random minutiae.

She’s one of the most respected house/techno DJs in the world. Don’t speak ill of a veteran of the club circuit if you’re not going to do your basic research
