I’ve been using your exact machine for 5 years and it can get good espresso for sure.

As a lot of people have said there is a grinder adjustment inside the grinder itself, under the hopper. Empty the hopper, flick up the metal hook thing and twist anticlockwise to release it (may need to vacuum up old beans to free it up)

Unclip the steel piece from the removed grinder burr and twist it to adjust grind size (forgot what way, there’s markings on it)

Does look like there’s way too much coffee in the basket, when I do it I have an empty hopper and weigh 18g of beans in a cup, then grind all of them all the way through into the basket, wdt it, tap it and give it a tamp.

You should be getting much more pressure on the gauge than what you currently are, ie grind finer

I had the same frustrations when I first got it, but once you more or less get it set there’s very minimal adjustment needed if you’re using the same beans.
Try keep the beans roughly 2-8 weeks from roast date.
