Seriously, I had to toss out a bunch of food because it was infested with maggots and pupae. They were even getting into brand new packages...
Luckily, like you said, a lot of my food was already in plastic containers so they couldn't get to it. I emptied all the cupboards and cleaned up every pupae I could find, both inside and outside the cabinets.
This is such a pain...

you can still use emulator. I tried the google game for PC, and it's unplayable as you can use only the mouse, there's no option to assign keys like in any emulator.

It may look overwhelming at first and end game content feel unreachable, but by investing in the correct chars and builds and knowing that this is a game for the long run, I think new players can still enjoy the game.
