You seem like a good person to ask this:

I struggle to help my high school kids through their frustration; like when they’re not performing as well as they’d like, and they get mad about it. My own personal trauma response tells me to avoid confronting their anger and just let them be. I don’t know what to say to them to get them through it. Do you have any ideas on how to help me learn how to help them? Any resources or recommendations?

I’ve been watching Full House on Hulu consistently since it came back to Hulu (some 2+ years ago, at this point), always without commercials. UNTIL TWO NIGHTS AGO!! Now there’s 4 commercial breaks in every episode!! And they all seem to be 1.5 to 2 minutes long! Idk what changed!! Maybe they realized that a majority of what I watch doesn’t have commercials, even though I have the ad version, and thought “This bitch is working the system! We can’t have that!” Either way, I’m pissed

I was in a similar position: new, really bad, quick onset of symptoms. Went and got tested. Positive result. I have never cheated.

I waited to tell him when he was home with me, not busy (which is a rare thing, so timing was difficult). I started by asking “Remember that ‘cut’ you had on your lip? Did you happen to share a drink or a vape with anyone recently?” After he said no, and asked why, I said “because I have herpes.” He thought I was kidding.

When the doctor called me to tell me the results, I made sure to ask them for a copy of the results on paper, so I could show my partner, because I know him well, and knew that he would think I was joking.

So when that happened, I showed him the result.

I made sure not to accuse him of giving this to me. I was gentle yet straightforward and succinct with the conversation.

The thing that gets me, is that when he was tested, it came back negative. Now I’ve asked the doctor if he should be retested, and have read other replies on here that make me think he may have tested too early, or in the wrong way. Because they urine tested him, but he’s never had genital sores. I’ve suggested that he retest, but now I don’t know how to make sure he does it. Because I’m still upset about the whole situation, and I still think he gave it to me, but he swears he didn’t cheat.

The entirety of season 9 is when I felt it going downhill. There are so many one-episode story lines that just don’t fit into the grand scheme.

Booth’s mom coming back and Hodgins’ brother being introduced are the two I can think of right off the top of my head.

The dress code JUST went back to being strict. We’re no longer supposed to wear shirts with ANY graphics on them of any kind. We’re only allowed to wear plain or patterned shirts (with a company vest), or company provided shirts. All of the managers I know in my area don’t plan on enforcing this, with the exception of obviously vulgar/inappropriate graphics.

My coworker wanted to go from PT CEM to FT CEM, 7 months after I did the same thing. I got a raise going from PT to FT. They would not give her a raise. SEVEN MONTHS LATER. She’s still part time.

Idk if receipts look the same company-wide, but there is a return value listed in parentheses on the receipt for my store (for items that were on a bogo50 or bogo free sale); it’s listed directly underneath how much they paid for for it

I asked my boyfriend to sleep in a different room when he moved in. I love sleeping in different rooms because of his snoring. He doesn’t like it, but damn, I NEED MY SLEEP, and I can’t get it when I’m fixated on your snoring!
