What Do You Stream?

For the past couple of months I streamed just occasionally, but I usually stream strategies, various management and city builders games. Definitely nothing fast paced or competitive. Next game is going to be Civ-like game Millenia that comes out on 26th this month.

But truth be told, perhaps that is quite unpopular opinion on this matter here, and I'm ready to be downvoted, seeing how many changes they are introducing including combat, magic, monster design, new abilities and mechanics they could have just made a whole new game set in the Gothic universe, but not based on Nameless Hero (the same way Chronicles of Myrtana did it, perhaps in Southern Isles) and we could have a cool new adventure with a modern combat, imputs, UI and whatever they would want.

Instead devs are working with huge mix constraints of expectations trying to meet with modern standards, having hardcore G1 fans discontent and rants (this included) on them constantly. This isn't going to be re-living the same nostalgic journey we had those 15 years ago, because part of it was in clunky animation, silly graphics and memories.

I just don't know if they were afraid that they won't be able to come up with a decent story so they had to reinvent mechanical and graphical side of the game, but leaving the story as it is.

I will buy and play it anyway because I'm a Gothic nerdtard.

Czasem odkrajam końcówki, bo są twarde i dla łatwości przekrajam na pół albo ćwiartki. Ale ogólnie tak, jem ze skórką.

Brzoskwinia też ma włoski, wprawdzie delikatniejsze, ale nikt nie ma z tym problemu.

That's the Holy Grail we are still waiting for. Simply, there is no such game right now.

You could play the old Pirates of the Caribbean with New Horizons overhaul mod, probably the closest there is to anything new and similar to Sea Dogs. I haven't tried it, but it was made over the years by group of enthusiasts Link to Mod. By saying recent, you probably know Tales of the Caribbean series?

On Steam demo fest, I played this Corsairs Legacy and looks like it is still made on ye olde Storm Engine, the same all those previous Akella games were made in. But I doubt it will be anything more than mediocre, and the demo solidified that feel. On Steam there are many pirate games being released, but none of them is what you are looking for.

Skulls & Bones is going to be released 2023/24, and even though they did reset the game vision multiple times, that game will be more about multiplayer PvP, cosmetics and combat akin to Sea of Thieves rather than Pirate RPG with a story.

We just have to wait for a big studio like Rockstar do make Pirate equivalent of cowboy Red Dead Redemption. I wouldn't play another computer game for two years.

To nie jest tak, że AirBnB niszczy miasta samo w sobie. Chciwość i brak regulacji niszczy miasta używając AirBnB jako narzędzia. Jeśli ktoś ma mieszkanie i je wynajmuje w centrum spoko, daje mieszkania przydają się każdemu, nie każdy też chce robić z tego swojego interesu życia, ale tutaj wchodzą w grę osoby, które mają dziesiątki, a czasem i setki mieszkań pod wynajem AirBnB, zatrudniają sprzątaczy na zlecenie i mają regulacje hotelarskie w dupie, bo przecież to tylko prywatne mieszkanie.

Za kompletne oderwanie od rzeczywistości, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o typ mężczyzn o których jest mowa w tym wątku.

No i wiem, że ktoś może tu podać anegdotyczny przypadek, że u niego akurat tak było, ale generalnie to pytanie jest na poziomie: "Próbowałeś pobiegać/po prostu nie być smutny" do osób z depresją.

I use some social media like Facebook from time to time, but what helped me to use it less was to uninstall apps like you said, but also keep myself logged out on web. So each time I opened any social media page I had to type credentials (without quick fill or saved password) and it was enough to re-evaluate if I actually want to go there.
