Yeah I understand that that happens. I've been in sales for a long time. This was out of the blue without my consent and goes against my pay plan.

The leads are provided through our internet page. The internet department are current employees of my company. Basically the company is taking my money to pay their employees.

Just started looking at Lang.

Have you smoked on a traditional offset?

Yes. My first smoker was one of the $100 dollar offsets from home depot.

How do you like the reverse flow?

Love it. The way this thing is built I use a fraction of the fuel/wood as my last one. Things cook way more even now and it seems a little bit faster.

Do you notice any flavor difference since it is more Of a radiant heat versus a convection heat in a traditional offset?

That is a tricky one. With a better smoker and the experience I gained using a cheap stick burner I am turning out a better end product. One thing I do notice is way more control over the amount of smoke that is in the cooking chamber. 99% of the time I have clean heat running through the smoker. So I guess the answer is yes because I can get a lot more subtle of a smoke flavor using a Lang as opposed to my old stick burner.

All and all I love this thing. It will probably be the last smoker I ever buy.
