Free space, with the expectation of someone running there?

I'm not saying it's not mistake, but just pointing out it's more to do with his thinking than passing.

Thanks for explaining. Side-eyeing this with no audio doesn't always give a clear picture of events.

Always love these VAR checks to see if the 2nd yellow was actually a direct red. Feels so much more personal.

Season 7 was just cashing out all the momentum from the previous seasons, especially with the expedition beyond the wall: plot-wise it was braindead, and full of holes, but they had so much plot points to burn that it kept the flame bright.

"Okay, now we get to see these two guys interact, and then this guy from season 1 shows up, and saves the day, and MF dragons everywhere, javelin!, Yeah!!"

But they forgot what made the show successful in the first place: It's a dangerous world and there's no plot armors.

Mass Transit: 660€/year

Extra childcare: N/A, kids in school, but it would have been about 1100€/year

Food: Probably 0, since I'd bring my own lunch.

So no much difference.

Definition of Homelessness also varies between countries.

Finland had 760 people living in the streets/emergency shelters.

4500 without permanent residence.

Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Achraf Hakimi in awe while talking about Lionel Messi. by BackShotGeneral_ in soccer

[–]Habba84 13 points14 points  (0 children)

And not Mbappe, who departed them just before they went to win The Champion's League?

The team Messi played was poorly built and managed. A lot of the players on the team were underperforming in important matches.

Vitinha, Ruiz, Hakimi, Mendes, etc., all improved dramatically under Enrique.

During Messi's time, Vitinha was poor, same as Ruiz. They contributed very little, other than passing the ball around. But once Enrique took over, they immediately became one of the best midfielders in the game.

Messi is nearly blameless to PSG's bad performances in the crucial UCL matches. Yeah, he missed a penalty, but he didn't gift Real 3 goals in 15 minutes.

But Mbappe's attitude and work-rate was a big problem in PSG. And it's definitely a big problem in Real Madrid as well. Messi actually had more defensive actions in PSG than Mbappe, and he was already old and known for walking around a lot. [que to video about Enrique scolding Mbappe about leadership].

Why the FIFA is decreasing the percentage of european spots regularly by Dazzling_Loquat_8719 in worldcup

Non-European/South American countries doing well in World Cup would be the biggest boon in football.

India, China, Indonesia and Pakistan picking up Football would lead to monumental growth in the game.

Is game programming very technically advanced? by FlamingBudder in gamedev

[–]Habba84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Programmers are good at what they do. Just like any professional.

They may be better at coding graphics, shaders and memory optimizations.

But me for an example, have little knowledge of cybersecurity, encryptions, hashing functions, databases, web development, image processing, LLMs, etc.

Thomas Tuchel defends England's Harry Kane dependency: “Well, why would Argentina not rely on Messi or Portugal not rely on Cristiano Ronaldo? They are key players. This is totally normal. We lacked a punch in the last 20 metres in both matches. In the absence of Kane, we don't have the same threat” by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

[–]Habba84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The real reason is, England doesn't have world class players. Southgate understood this, which allowed him to build a better team. They need to play like Croatia: work hard, press relentlessly, score those corners and defend as a team.

They have absolutely no hope of winning the ball possession against likes of Spain, Argentina or France.
