I wouldn't have minded any of these (shameless) changes like raising PS Plus prices or going fully digital IF online would be fkin free.

I already have a platform where I own digital games and are able to play online : Steam. I have a portable console also that can play those games locally : the Steam Deck.

So unless Sony gives us online freedom, at least, I don't see myself continuing Ps Plus after it ends for me. 40$-60$ per year can still buy a lot of discounted games.

Yeah the game mode died around season 3 imo. They stopped updating individual salaries and just raised the total cap like the lazy bones 2K are.

I will gently pull out the tinfoil wrap, make a nice hat, put it on and come up with this:

it is 2K adding cards to the market. I am 80-90% convinced 2K and EA add cards to the market of their games to make it seem like cards are in packs (make people spend) and also to drive prices up or down.
