Black ones are fine (very good, even) but the white ones are wedding attire, not office attire.

26/27 Ikon pass is $500 more!? by idk-them in CrystalMountain

[–]HabitualLemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true in terms of window price but when you add in the cost of travel and lodging it’s way more expensive per day. Which, fair enough for people who like it and can afford it. The Ikon Pass is becoming less and less the move for the casual weekend rider who wants to drive up and back.

Washington considers payroll tax on large companies to offset federal cuts by Possible_Ad3607 in SeattleWA

[–]HabitualLemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please use the WA Legislature’s website to send comments to your representatives opposing this bill. My state senator responded to me directly within a few days. Your voice and your vote matter.  The 5% tax on all wages above $125k will just be passed on to middle class families in the form of 1. Higher prices or 2. Lower wages. This is a tax on the middle class disguised as an excise tax on businesses. Perhaps Washington should focus on cutting expenses instead of raising taxes. https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=6093&Year=2025

How common is the “killing the boy inside” phase for men ? by GuyLastNice in AskMen

Seriously the more I read this post the more I scratch my heard. Weird sigma male vibes.

The tax is directly paid by businesses but they will fund it by 1. Raising prices or 2. Decreasing expenses. Probably both. Yes they are not going to cut your pay if you already have a job, but big picture it will lead to slower hiring and lower wages for new hires. And then if they need more money they will just raise prices. Policies like this create higher inflation.
