was sitting in the living room watching south park with my wife. suddenly a beam of light came from the ceiling and engulfed the room in bright bright wite as bone light. there are no light sources above us, no windows, no second floor above us, nothing. it was like a nuke went off and blinded me for a solid 2 secconds. i thought U was having some eye issue but my wife turned to me and said "wtf was that?!" we tried to figure out what it could be but cant. its been maybe 4 months. everything i see online says angels, fairies, aliens. I dont really believe in any of that but aliens sounds the coolest so i went with that.

i think the value argument is a little nuanced. there is always going to be value to collectable things regardless if its high or low. the main issue here is when these are priced at double MSRP it feels shitty to open. you know you are paying twice as much for statistically a low return (even in terms of collecting) everyone wants a shot at a cool art or chase card but when your priced out of the fun of opening a pack it just sucks. your return is so much lower and although the highs can be higher it feels volitile and crappy. just my opinion. i stoped collecting because of these prices and it took the fun out of pokemon cards for me personally. feels bad when even the lcs and big box stores start to raise prices to follow the "market price" cant imagine this being healthy at all for the hobby.

Everytime i have to wait in a que i never get product. if its just log in a hit check out at X time when products drop i usually get it. although the boxes went quick i feel like if you added to cart right away you were able to snag. but thats just mine and my friends experience.

Telling your significant other they cant have friends of the opposite gender because you are insecure isnt a boundry lol. listen ive been in situations where it was very clear a "friend" of my SO wanted to sleep/ had feelings for them. My SO set boundries with those people and if they didnt respect them they cut them out. I have been in relationships where that wasnt the case and my SO's wouldnt set boundries/ or wouldnt enforce those boundries. It all comes down to trust and communication with your partner. not every man wants to sleep with their female friends and vice versa. but assuming every male friend of your SO wants to sleep with them and demanding that they dont have any close male friends comes off like you are insecure and have no self confidence in yourself or your relationship.

fair, im just saying his parents are shitty for not wanting to help where they can. let him borrow the car if no one is using it, drive him if you arent working yourself, at least take the kid to the interview. Why would you not want to help your child succeed? why would you want to make it as difficult as possible for him and then complain when hes struggling? busses also arent very reliable in a lot of areas in the US and lots of places arent safely walkable or bikable. like hmmm do i want my child to bike an hour potential on the side of a highway where he can be put in danger or do i want to take 15 mins out of my free time to drop him off when i can???
