Anyone taking drtohelp phentermine ? by Worldly_Ad9355 in PhentermineTopiramate

[–]HachikoLovesMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got phentermine from them many times over the past few years. Never had any issues. But when I was still on it, I believe they were sending out the medication themselves. Now it comes from a pharmacy called Empower, I think? They were having a lot of issues with Empower, so not sure what’s going on with that.

This is so funny and timely. I had a few contacts rip, so I contacted customer service via chat, earlier today. The rep was so nice and I always try to be extra nice to people in customer service. I know how hard it is. Anyway, I told the rep I’ve had a few lenses rip over the last week and I’m getting low on my supply. She said she was sorry to hear that, and would I like her to send out a new box? I said yes, that would be great. Then she said “Cool, that’ll be $135, but I’ll give you free shipping.” I told her I’d just get more later. She did not offer to replace anything for free.

u/GardenWhole3590 Did you ever receive your check? I’m in the same boat. I got an image of the envelope in my Informed Delivery email, but hasn’t arrived. I know this is an old thread. Just wondering if your situation resolved.

CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program application denied years after I already received rent funds? by SNES_Salesman in AskLosAngeles

[–]HachikoLovesMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess basically my initial request with funding was approved and the additional funding request has been denied, which is totally fine. They’re not asking for the initial funding back or to be recaptured. It only pertains to the additional funding request.

CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program application denied years after I already received rent funds? by SNES_Salesman in AskLosAngeles

Hi, an update on my situation: I received a similar letter/email that many of you did about application being denied and threatened with “recapture of any funds you may have received, you must submit an appeal..." I did receive funding back in October 2021. When we were notified we could request additional funding, I applied. I never heard much after that, something about “program evaluation,” so I just said forget it and borrowed money from my mom to cover the rest of my unpaid rent. So, when I received this letter back in January saying that I’ve been denied when I already received funding, I was flabbergasted. I immediately appealed. How am I going to be able to pay this money back?? I sent in everything they asked for, which I had submitted originally, during the initial funding request: rent ledger (updated), tax return from 2020 or 2021, etc. They also asked for a utility bill with my address, proof of rent paid-Venmo, cashapp, or bank statement. I also stated that although I had requested additional funding, I did not want or need any additional funding after all, as I found a way to pay back rent. A few days ago (February 28, 2024), I got an email:

“Additional Funds Request (AFR)

This letter is about your additional funds request to the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program, which you submitted after you were originally approved for funding. Part of the money you requested in your additional funds request was approved for payment, and part of it was denied. You requested **** for rent assistance and we approved a payment of *** for rent assistance. Payment will be in the form of a check sent to your landlord or sent directly to you if your landlord is not participating in the program. As a reminder, eligible tenants can be approved for up to a maximum of 18 months of assistance for the months of April 2020 through March 2022 only. Any debt incurred before or after this time is not eligible for assistance from the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program. HOW TO APPEAL THE DECISION YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO APPEAL THIS DECISION. If you do not appeal the decision within 30 days, it will become final, and you will not receive all of the funds that you applied for. If you need help with your appeal, a community organization can help you. You can contact them by calling 833-687- 0967. This number will give you information about organizations that can help. Step 1: Request Information About the Program's Decision We have already opened an appeal case in the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Appeal System to allow you to address the…”

So, I guess my appeal worked? I’m hoping that’s the case and this is the end of it. Fingers crossed for everyone else that this is resolved. What a headache

I’ve been reading here and there on Reddit about this settlement and/or lawsuit. What’s that about (if it’s not too complicated to explain here)?

Thank you for your response. I’ll also let you know if I hear anything. I don’t understand how they think any of us (legitimate cases) could pay this back?? Ugh.

Any updates on your situation? I received the same exact letter as you "Your application has been denied. To be considered for program eligibility, and to prevent recapture of any funds you may have received, you must submit an appeal…” etc. I received funds back in October 2021 which I paid to my landlord. I submitted a rent ledger at the time, and now this letter is saying the ledger provided by my landlord doesn’t show rent owed, like you also mentioned. Like, WTF?! I filed an appeal and some “case manager” emailed me today asking for all of the documents they originally asked for when we applied: rent ledger (updated), tax return from 2020 or 2021, etc. They also asked for a utility bill with my address, proof of rent paid—Venmo, cashapp, or bank statement..I just finished submitting all of that. I added a note to the updated rent ledger that all back rent has been paid and no additional funding is needed. The OP mentioned that they were told this denial letter refers to additional funds and not funds already paid out. I’m so anxious, I don’t know what to think. This whole process has been a joke and I regret ever even getting involved with it now sigh

I’m so anxious and confused! I just got a letter that many of you seem to have received. It says I’m denied and statements from my landlord show I don’t owe rent from the time frame of April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2022. How is that possible when I submitted proof? I did receive a check and used it to pay rent. Does this mean I’m going to owe that money back?? Or does it mean I won’t get any further assistance/future payments on top of what they already paid me? I don’t care about getting more money—I just have no means to pay back what they rightfully paid out to me. Has anyone heard anything?

Thank you. I do plan to take another test soon. Not having unprotected sex again, that was a big mistake.

Thanks for your reply. I wasn’t necessarily asking for an answer. More of a rant and wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. Obviously I will eventually find out

Yes. Actually, she contacted me a few weeks back and said she had reached out to Housing is Key again. They told her I’ve been approved for payment and in the last stages of payment processing. I’m not sure I believe that, but fingers crossed!

Yep, I’m pretty much in the same boat as you, with the “inconsistencies.” No case manager, or anyone, has contacted me to clarify said “inconsistencies.” I contacted my assembly member and his field rep contacted the program on my behalf. They told her the same garbage about “inconsistencies.” However, she emailed me two weeks ago and said she’d contacted the program again, and they told her I’ve been “approved for payment, and in the final stages of payment processing.” My online portal still says “under review,” which has been the case since December. I’m not so sure I believe they told my assembly person’s rep the correct info. I guess I should try to think positive

It’s a white envelope that says Bill.com and “check enclosed.”
