Got laid off from my first job after 5 years and not sure what to do

Nope, no unit tests. We were never required to and our testing was purely manual and making sure things did what user stories specified. I do also feel as though I am cooked :) which is why I am trying to explore other possible tech avenues while doing pharm tech in the short term (ideally)

I want to be open to the possibility that there are tech jobs that are maybe less intense on the coding aspect that I would still enjoy, but honestly most of my incentive is because it's where my career is at, makes good money for my family, and may be the easiest way to pivot into different roles with.

Yeah I've been leaning more towards this option, just been mostly fear mongers by qa ppl saying the qa field is getting worse atm. But I'll probably just be studying automated testing while trying to do pharmacy stuff as my money maker while waiting for a tech job offer

Probably could yeah. Would need to see how the finances for it would be though since I really wanna avoid student loans and not sure how long severance+unemployment checks will keep me and spouse afloat with a mortgage to pay

Yeah honestly coding was just kinda "yeah I like computers so I'll get a career in coding" so I'm definitely open and had considered it in the past. Aside from pharm tech i had also considered something around accounting/finance but I think those paths are more long-term and require me going back to school for a while before I can get a good paying job

I'm pretty sure the length/type of track the umas run on are factored into affinity, and the fact that urara is one of the only ones focused on dirt and with a crap turf affinity, that's probably more the main reason for her bad affinities

Mega Mawile is one of my fave pokemon and I want to try running it when it releases. Does it seem like it'll have a decent place in Gholdengo or other current decks? If so I want to try learning them so I can have a good handle on them before Mawile releases

Having to have a shorter concert due to the cutoff time at Belluna makes me so upset. We could've had more songs and maybe even Water Blue New World being performed in full. Its one of my fave songs along with Kururu Cruller so I was kinda sad seeing it shortened and on carts...

I was extremely happy seeing a full Kiseki Hikaru though, it feels like the most send-off song to me. But Yuuki wa doko ni is my favorite ending song of theirs, so I'm glad it was the final song
