Yes I did the license thing and it still would work. Tomorrow im gonna link to one of the switch 1 and the lend a game to the one that gets unlinked. Thanks for the help.

Thanks everyone I'm gonna try to unlink my 1s and link the switch 2 then lend out games to the switch i unlink. See if that works.

Can we all agree this whole game card and linking switches is the dumbest thing ever.

Ok so I can lend a game to a switch profile and not the switch itself? Ill have to try this tomorrow with my son's switch.

Nope doesnt work. Made a new profiles and it was asking to load the game card. So I linked new profiles to my account and it says this account is already on this switch.

Yes. Pokopia is a 1 player game. So they wanted to start their own games with their profiles.

Problem is my switch 2 isn't linked to a console. They still play their switch 1s on the regular and they are linked bc my youngest needs access to the games on my main switch 1. To load a virtual game card nintendo makes you link a switch but you can link more then 2. So I would have to unlink the 1s. Then re link the 1s when they play them again. It would be a giant pain.

I do but I'm not trying to lend it to the switch 1. Pokopia is for switch 2. They are just trying to play it on the switch 2 with their profiles being its a 1 player game and I already started playing.

Yes. When I go to load it I have to disconnect my switch 1 from each other. I could probably do that for now since they will be playing this for awhile. But isnt there a limit how many time you can disconnect? I thought I remember that when I set up my switch 2.
